Μουσική από iPod/iPhone και άλλα digital sources Λύση: Home Cinema ή κάτι άλλο?

Αγαπητό AVClub,

Είμαι αδαής στα θέματα ποιοτικών ηχοσυστημάτων και ήθελα την βοήθειά σου. Ψάχνω δώρο γάμου για τον καλύτερο μου φίλο που μπαίνει σε καινούριο σπίτι σε καμιά βδομάδα.
Σκέφτηκα λίγο τις συνήθειες/ανάγκες (και συνεπώς τις προτεραιότητες) του και μπόρεσα να τις συνοψίσω ως εξής:
· Ακούει μουσική από ραδιοφωνο, ιντερνετ αλλά κυρίως από iPod και iPhone, άρα η εύκολη συνδεσιμότητα με iPhone/iPod και το streaming από iTunes μέσω WiFi είναι το πιο σημαντικό ζητούμενο
· Βλέπει τρομερά σπάνια ταινίες από source τύπου DVD/BlueRay και συνεπώς το surround(5.1) είναι μάλλον περιττό
· Βλέπει καμιά φορά ταινίες από κάποιου τύπου mediaplayer (e.g. .avi από Lassie + σκληρό δίσκο, ή AppleTV)
· Θα ήθελε να τοφοδοτήσει 2 (η και 3) χώρους με μουσική (και ίσως και ταυτόχρονα από διαφορετικά sources, όπως νομίζω ότι κάνει το multi-zone feature των Denon AVR 3310)
· Ασχολείται ενεργά με το ιντερνετ και τον ενδιαφέρει να παραμείνει κοντά στις εξελίξεις (καινούρια digital formats, καινούρια “κανάλια”, InternetRadio, DAB, κτλ)
· Είναι «κοινος χρηστης» της τεχνολογιας και σε καμία περίπτωση network design guru ή administrator (του πήρε 3 μήνες να στήσει το WiFi και το AppleTV). Συνεπώς το στήσιμο και η παραμετροποίηση/ρύθμιση πρέπει να είναι απλά
· Είναι τύπος που αν πρέπει να χρησιμοποιήσει 6 remote controls για να βάλει ένα κομμάτι, μπορεί και να μην βάλει το κομμάτι, οπότε η ευχρηστία και η περιορισμένη περίοδος προσαρμογής είναι σημαντικά. Το να μπορείς να βάλεις μουσική με 1 remote control είναι το τέλειο.

Οπλισμένος με τα παραπάνω και με πολύ σύντομες επισκέψεις στο www.whathifi.com διαμόρφωσα την άποψη ότι τα digital και internet sources, το streaming, κτλ συνδυάζονται καλύτερα με Home Cinema λύσεις (και δη amplifiers), όπως για παράδειγμα οι DenonAVR-3310 και 4310 (με ηχεία κολώνες MonitorAudioRx6 για τον βασικό χώρο και Rx1 για τον δευτερο…).
Από την άλλη, η ελάχιστη χρήση του surround και η κακή φήμη των συστημάτων αυτών σε απόδοση δικάναλης μουσικής με προβληματίζουν έντονα.

Και ιδού το ερώτημα: Υπάρχει κάποιο άλλο είδος λύσης που είναι καταλληλότερο για τις παραπάνω ανάγκες; Για παράδειγμα, είδα κάτι που λέγεται “all-in-one” system όπως το NAIM UNITY (που έχει και όλα τα παραπάνω +CD-RW, +AM/FMtuner+DAC), που είναι όμως ακριβό (~€2200 μόνο το main unit). Άκουσα επίσης ότι υπάρχουν και «φέτες» DAC που σε συνδυασμό με HiFi amplifier έχουν εξαιρετικά αποτελέσματα.

Το budget είναι το αντίστοιχο του 3310 με Rx6, δηλαδή 1100 + 900 = 2000 ευρώπουλα, όπως το αντιλαμβάνομαι ούτε high-end αλλά ούτε entry level.

Τι θα συμβουλεύατε εσείς; Υπάρχει κάτι που μου διαφεύγει; Ποια είναι, σε γενικές γραμμές, η καλύτερη λύση δια δικάναλη μουσική από digital sources με τα καλούδια που προανέφερα;

At the core of the Meridian F80 is a high-integrity digital sound system, based on powerful digital signal processing (DSP) technology. This electronic heart is surrounded by a specifically designed enclosure in which each driver has its own compartment. Innovative low-resonance, high mass composite materials developed in conjunction with Ferrari ensure that this cabinet offers excellent dynamic integrity - whatever the volume level, it does not resonate or interfere with the sound quality.
Inside, the left and right stereo drivers are special full-range designs - developed by Meridian and custom made for this new range of products - with powerful neodymium magnets, die cast chassis, high-temperature voice-coils and carefully-designed cones fashioned from magnesium and aluminium alloy. The subwoofer is a special long-throw design with a unique long voice-coil that maximises output and linearity.

With stereo widening and loudness controls, coupled with Meridian's powerful active techniques that deliver tight bass, it's easy to get a great sound at any volume level.

Active equalisation ensures that the F80 always sounds its best. Sound controls include an innovative 'tilt' function that increases bass while decreasing treble, or vice-versa, so the sound is always correctly balanced. There are also built-in location compensation controls that adjust performance if the F80 has been placed, for example, in a corner or on a shelf, ensuring that the F80 sounds its best in any room position.
On the rear panel are all the connections you'll need. For example, we know you'll enjoy the powerful on-board loudspeaker system, but there may be times when you want to connect a standard set of headphones for personal listening. Plugging the headphones in automatically mutes the loudspeakers - or not, if you prefer.
Digital optical input and output are also provided, along with three separate external analogue inputs. One is a mini-DIN connector that allows the connection of a standard iPod dock, while the others are standard 3.5mm stereo jack sockets that can be used to connect, for example, a personal stereo, PVR, computer or set-top box.

Το ειχα δει πρωτη φορα περσυ στην εκθεση και ειχα παθει την πλακα μου (πιστευω οτι και πολλοι αλλοι). Το meridian επαιζε εκπληκτικα. Το μονο αρνητικο του ηταν η τσιμπιμενη τιμη του.

Σε αυτα τα χρηματα πιστευω οτι ειναι πραγματικη ευκαιρια. Κανενα συστημα all in one (και οχι μονο) και καμια ηχομπαρα δεν μπορει να συγκριθει μαζι του.
