To νεο ηχειο της Cessaro εκανε την "εμφανιση" του τον προηγουμενο μηνα.
Μιας και παρουσιαστηκε στο Μοναχο (στατικη) ας το δουμε και εδω.
Η μονη πληροφορια που εχουμε μεχρι στιγμης ειναι οτι το fullrange driver (με μικρο ?) ειναι το Supravox 215-2000.

CRESCENDO CD PLAYER

To think of the Crescendo Cd Player as a “common” high-end player or still worse as a “low -level” high-end one would be totally misguided to say the least!!!! The Crescendo CD Player, in reality, is the result of in depth research and careful attention to detail. In fact, the product has been implemented with technology only previously used in benchmark players... until now. This challenge has been undertaken with the ulterior requirement of maximizing value for money. This has pushed the Audio Analogue designers to develop new circuit solutions and has brought about results which have gone over and above our already ambitious initial targets!
The Cd Mechanism used is the CD-5010A specifically designed by Teac for high quality audio application. The CD-5010A has been developed on the basis of a CD ROM mechanism which decreases the rotation speed and improves the reading procedure. This has the particular advantage of cutting down the jitter output level. The Audio Analogue R&D staff has worked with Teac during the developing and testing of the Cd mechanism, especially with the mechanical and vibration tests.
The Digital to analogue conversion circuit is composed by a 192 KHz/24Bit very low recovered system clock (residual jitter less than 50ps!) Burr Brown receiver and by a 24Bit/192KHz Enhanced Multilevel Delta Sigma architecture DAC. The conversion circuit is placed on a separated board to avoid any high frequency disturbance on the audio signal.
In this product Audio Analogue has pointed a lot on the output stage and a new approach to the design has been developed. We have realized a fourth order active output filter that, together with the inner one pole filter inside the used DAC, forms a fifth order output one. Such high order (usually found only in really very expensive products!) permits to increase the cut off frequency of the output filter with very good results on the audio performances of the unit especially for the increased precision of the listening stage. The problem of the approach (and that’s why is usually implemented in high price products) is the added distortion and noise due to the high number of stage the sound has to pass through. Audio Analogue has used all its experience and technology to design every part of the stage and choose every passive component to reduce, after a long work, the overall distortion and noise with astonishing results!
The manager software implemented comes from a long and careful research finalized to take advantage of the CD Mechanism at its best for a perfect audio return and for the best CD player management.

CRESCENDO INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER

The Crescendo Integrated Amplifier is an appliance which can deliver 50W on a 8Ohm load with a THD+N of less then 0.05% and 80W on a 4Ohm load with a THD+N of less then 0.05%. So the ratio of the 8Ohm and 4Ohm power is extremely good, if not absolutely astonishing for an item in this price range! What’s more, the additional characteristics of the unit not only make it a real benchmark in its class but a whole lot more because it is, in reality, a “true high end” integrated amplifier! The SNR is more than 100dB and the band-width more than 150KHz. We haven’t just tried to reach good electrical stats, but, in line with the Audio Analogue philosophy, we have also worked attentively on the sound, which has been perfectly tuned to the Crescendo CD Player.

The Crescendo Integrated Amplifier has also been designed to be really very versatile:
• It has 5 Line Inputs and a frontal input to be connected to a MP3 Player Line Output, such as an iPod, it also has a REC Out and a Phone Out.
• The LINE Input 5 can be configured in By-Pass mode to easily place the Crescendo INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER in an audio video system (Click Here for details), in such a configuration the Crescendo INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER can drive the front loudspeaker, which can easily be shared between the Stereo-System and the Audio/Video-System increasing also the overall Audio/Video audio quality.
• The possibility to choose the volume scale steps to match the steps to the loudspeakers’ sensibility (Click Here for details). 4 different scales are available, 3 of which have been designed for different loudspeaker sensitivity and the last with 79 steps, 1dB each, for the most precise scale of all, if required.
• The balance function.
• Crescendo IA has a Trigger-In input by which it can be switched on by the Crescendo CD Player or by the Crescendo Tuner/USBDAC.

MULTIFUNCTION AUDIO UNIT


Audio Analogue goes on in its research to solve the enigma:
“Is possible to create a multifunction audio unit, what is also called an “all in one system”, with a so high sound quality to be compared to the best audiophile systems?”
With Enigma Rev2.0 the answer is yes!
The audio chain design started choosing a new Vacuum Tube Preamplifier section based on the Rossini CD Player REV2.0 output stage that gave us surprising results. Then all the parts have been matched to the preamplifier stage. Important changes have been implemented in every part, but especially in the power stage and DAC section. The audio quality resulting is astonishing!

The Enigma Rev2.0 has a new more essential design with a line input on the front to be connected to a line output of a MP3 Player such as the iPod to meet the increasing interest in that kind of audio sources even in the High-End field. Also a Monout output has been added to connect a active subwoofer and a completely very efficient new software has been implemented.

Enigma Rev.2.0 solve the enigma. It is a unique product because for sure on the market there are not “all-in-one” systems with similar audio quality.
We can absolutely assert that Enigma Rev2.0 for its sound can be well compared with even higher expensive true High-end systems.

The Maestro Duecento Integrated Amplifier SE comes after a four year period of diligent research that Audio Analogue has been developing on the standard Maestro Duecento Integrated Amplifier.
The research, directed towards a perfect tuning of the unit, has concerned both the selection of the passive components (with special attention paid to the capacitors) and several inner wiring strategies. The implemented changes in such areas have permitted the unit to reach a higher level of audio performance.
These improvements previously reserved for only a small group of audiophiles are now available to a wider public with the birth of the Maestro Duecento Integrated Amplifier SE.
