Το πέτυχα σήμερα κάτω στο κέντρο σε βινυλιάκι και δε μπόρεσα να αντισταθώ, δεν υπήρχε περίπτωση άλλωστε...

Είχα αγοράσει το δίσκο των Shivaree ακούγοντας το Goodnight Moon από το ραδιόφωνο, χωρίς να έχω την παραμικρή ιδέα για το συγκρότημα και την Αμβροσία του. Απλά το συγκεκριμένο τραγούδι μου έκανε κλικ και εξακολουθεί να μ' αρέσει πολύ.

Όλος όμως ο δίσκος, με το μακροσκελή και περίεργο τίτλο, έχει ενδιαφέρον. Αν και το Goodnight Moon είναι το πιο 'πιασάρικο' τραγούδι του.

Ακόμη ένα υπέροχο τραγούδι, που πιστεύω το ξέρετε όλοι.

Εκτός του ότι έχει υπέροχη μουσική, έχει και ΚΑΤΑΠΛΗΚΤΙΚΑ λόγια. Τα λόγια είναι που το κάνουν ξεχωριστό για μένα τουλάχιστον.

Το βιντεάκι που είδα στο youtube μού έκανε εντύπωση γιατί οι διαδοχικές εικόνες μεταφέρουν αλληγορικά και πετυχημένα τα λόγια του τραγουδιού.

Μην κοιτάτε το εξώφυλλο με συμπόνοια στα γεροντάκια... Στο Allegro passionato παίζουν σαν δαιμονισμένοι, ο ένας στο τσέλο ο άλλος στο πιάνο...

το neverland είναι ένα κομμάτι που θα ήθελα να το δω live....και αυτό με στοιχειώνει

απ την πιο πρόσφατο παρελθόν των Marillion δεν συγκρίνεται με παλαιότερες δουλειές τους αλλά είναι ευχάριστο σαν άκουσμα,,,ποιο πολύ για να αδειάζει το κεφάλι απ τα πολλά,,,

Ως fan των Marillion στα νεανικά μου χρόνια θα έλεγα ότι οι Marillion τελείωσαν με τη φυγή του Fish.
Marillion (για μένα ως περιστασιακό ακροατή τους πλέον) σημαίνουν τα 4 : Script for Jester's...,Fugazi,Misplaced...,(και λιγότερο) Clutching...

Υπάρχουν και αξιόλογα κομμάτια στη Hoggarth εποχή, Διονύση.

Το marbles μάλιστα είναι τρομερό για "φρέσκια" παραγωγή.


Τα ξέρω, επειδή ο κολλητός μου έχει ψύχωση με τους Marillion.
Εγώ προσωπικά είμαι καλυμμένος με τα του Fish...

Όπως και κάποια σόλο του Fish.
