Ψυχεδέλεια-Progressive τέλη 60'ς - αρχές 70'ς, στο στυλ που γνωρίζουμε από τους Camel, Caravan, Soft Machine, κ.ο.κ.
Δηλαδή, πολύ του γούστου μου.
Η έκδοση που ακούω δεν είναι αυτή στην εικόνα, είναι από τα βινύλια που είχα πάρει από το Σπύρο.

The End of the Game is an album by British blues rock musician Peter Green, who was the founder of Fleetwood Mac and a member from 1967-70. Released in 1970 (see 1970 in music), this was his first solo album, recorded in June 1970, only a month after leaving Fleetwood Mac.
The style of this album was a radical departure from his work with Fleetwood Mac, consisting of edited pieces of a long studio jam. Musically, it was experimental and free-form, with very loose or non-existent musical structure. All the tracks were instrumentals. Apart from Green's two singles from this period, Heavy Heart/No Way Out and Beasts Of Burden/Uganda Woman (recorded with Nigel Watson), this album bears no resemblance to any of Green's other recorded work.
It is worth noting that the bassist on this album is Alex Dmochowski, otherwise known as Erroneus, who also played bass on the Frank Zappa jazz rock fusion albums Waka/Jawaka (Hot Rats II) and The Grand Wazoo.

Tελείωσε πρίν λίγο.
Οι εντυπώσεις ανάμικτες. Jazz, ανατολίτικος αέρας που κάνει αμυδρά αισθητή την παρουσία του. Το πιάνο καταιγιστικό σε κάποια κομμάτια. Μυστήριο και έκρηξη αδρεναλίνης σε στιγμές ανύποπτες.
Αξίζει τον κόπο.

E.S.T. like to play with expectations, and they begin Tuesday Wonderland as you might assume, with a spare solo piano line hinting at a delicate baroque counterpoint. It's the kind of feather-stroked chamber jazz they've been working for a few years now. But just as you settle in, crushing drums and fuzzed arco bass drop in a groove from the apocalypse. This ominous track, "Fading Maid Preludium," and its second half, "Fading Maid Postludium," frame Tuesday Wonderland, setting in bas-relief an album of careening, intuitive improvisation. E.S.T. are frighteningly varied in their technique and deep in their understanding of jazz lore. You can hear echoes of Keith Jarrett and Ahmad Jamal in pianist Esbjörn Svensson, from whom the trio take their name, but he also embraces a more modern vocabulary, hinting at Cecil Taylor while dancing gospel vamps and dropping rock power-chords. Drummer Magnus Öström can lay down the shuffling brush strokes of "The Goldhearted Miner," pour out a progressive rock fusillade, or do a ballet of polyrhythmic shadings and colors that recall the late Steve McCall. The real chameleon of the group is bassist Dan Berglund. He plays soulful, muscular double bass lines, but he also triggers a synthesizer for both subtle shading and the hellion roar heard on that opening track. E.S.T. remain a group exploring the edges of jazz improvisation, managing to be free and intuitive while also maintaining melodic and rhythmic touchstones. Tracks like "Brewery of Beggars" are multipart journeys shifting from gentle lyricism to electric storms. E.S.T. have evolved from being the most ECM-like band that wasn't on ECM into their own natural and thoroughly modern hybrid. --John Diliberto

Λόγω ώρας και κόπωσης δεν μπορώ να γράψω και πολλά.
Μετά απο μία μέρα γεμάτη τρέξιμο και άγχος , ήταν κάτι που έκλεισε την μέρα με τον καλύτερο τρόπο.
τα σχόλια του πρώτου χρήστη στην σελίδα του Amazon απο το " it may be quiet & limpidly beautiful, but is never feels confected, and the group interplay is vivid & full of surprise..." κι έπειτα είναι η καταληλότερη περιγραφή που θα μποσούσα να κάνω.

δεν ξέρω αν το έχεις ήδη ακούσει το cd,αλλά τσέκαρέ το: buddy guy-blues singer...στις καλύτερες στιγμές του ο guy,με τις υπερβολές στις οποίες καταφεύγει μερικές φορές στα live,να απουσιάζουν...ευτυχώς.

δεν ξέρω αν το έχεις ήδη ακούσει το cd,αλλά τσέκαρέ το: buddy guy-blues singer...στις καλύτερες στιγμές του ο guy,με τις υπερβολές στις οποίες καταφεύγει μερικές φορές στα live,να απουσιάζουν...ευτυχώς.
