Kάτι δεν πάει καλά με τα μεγάλα βρετανικά συγκροτήματα. Δεν είναι άλλωστε τυχαίο ότι η Βρετανική μουσική βιομηχανία είναι ένας από τους παραγωγηκότερους τομείς στο κράτος αυτό... Χρονια τώρα!
 
Από τα πλέον αγαπημένα συγκροτήματά μου στα 90's, μετά τον τρίτο δίσκο κούρασαν και επανέλαβαν εαυτούς μέχρι αηδίας. Αυτή η αποχώρηση έπρεπε να συμβεί καμιά δεκαετία πριν. Πάντως ακόμη και τώρα ακούων με μεγάλη ευχαρίστηση τα πρώτα τους, όταν ακούω κανένα ξένο.

Πέρα απο το drama, ήταν μια μεγάλη μπάντα στα φόρτε τους.
Αγαπημένοι μου καθώς τους έχω ταυτίσει με τα εφηβικά μου χρόνια όταν μεσουρανούσαν.

Following the release of their sixth studio album, Oasis return to their hometown of Manchester for a triumphant concert at the City of Manchester Stadium, in a multi-camera shoot directed by Dick Carruthers. The performance includes material from Don't Believe the Truth as well as classic tracks such as Live Forever, Rock 'n Roll Star and Cigarettes & Alcohol.

Εχει γεμισει το Ytube πολυ συγκινητικα βιντεο απο τις στιγμες τους .

In the 1990s, Noel Gallagher, the songwriter and guitarist for Oasis, frequently made bold claims that his band was on par with or even better than The Beatles. He and his brother Liam, the lead singer, often fueled these comparisons during interviews and public appearances, particularly after the release of their early albums like "Definitely Maybe" and "What's the Story (Morning Glory)?". Liam Gallagher also echoed this sentiment, stating that Oasis achieved in three years what it took The Beatles eight to accomplish, according to Nova.ie.

While these claims were often made in the context of youthful exuberance and band promotion, they sparked considerable debate and controversy at the time. Noel later admitted that some of his statements were made while under the influence of cocaine. Despite the controversy, the comparisons to The Beatles were a significant part of Oasis's public image and contributed to their massive popularity, particularly among a younger generation.

Although the band members themselves sometimes downplayed the comparisons in later years, the idea of Oasis as "the next Beatles" resonated with many fans and became a defining aspect of their legacy. Even Paul McCartney, a member of The Beatles, acknowledged the comparisons, noting that he found the band's assertion that they were bigger than The Beatles to be a "kiss of death.
