Μετά το post του hristoslav2, κατάλαβα τι εννοούσες. Σε εμένα πιο πολύ θα έλειπε το eARC που υπάρχει μόνο στις OLED.

We review the Panasonic HZ2000 4K OLED TV which features a Custom Professional Edition OLED panel, allowing the television to achieve higher peak brightness and APL (Average Picture Level) than conventional OLEDs.

Topics covered include near-black performance, colour accuracy, motion handling including 120Hz black frame insertion, video processing, HDR including Dolby Vision, as well as input lag for gaming. Unfortunately the HDMI inputs are still 2.0b, with two HDMI 2.1 features (ALLM and eARC) implemented.

Our review sample is the 65-inch Panasonic TX-65HZ2000B which is the 3-pin-plug UK version with Freeview Play.

Verdict

Overall the HZ1500 is one of the most accomplished home cinema TVs we have seen for a long time with superb image accuracy and sound to match. Only the HZ2000 will likely push it in terms of sound and vision, but that is the flagship of the range. The HZ1500 could prove to be trouble for its bigger brother in the value stakes. Our review of the HZ2000 is coming soon.

There are no HDMI 2.1 inputs on the HZ1500 but it does support eARC and ALLM HDMI 2.1 features via its HDMI 2.0b ports. It has a decent 22ms input lag and it does well with console gaming in HDR, but it is not the most advanced in terms of gaming compatibility like the LG CX. It also has My Home Screen V5.0 for its smart platform which isn’t as slick as the WebOS of LG, (however, it does have Freeview Play, unlike the CX). But, that misses the point of the HZ1500 which is image accuracy for critical movie and TV watching with the best possible just above black performance, mixed with excellent HDR tone mapping along with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision dynamic metadata.

The Panasonic HZ1500 sets itself a goal to be a master TV for accuracy and achieves that without worrying about being a jack of all trades. The Panasonic engineers have certainly worked their magic yet again to provide one of the most cinematic images yet seen from an OLED with excellent motion.

The addition of the upward firing speakers on this year's 1500 model is also a nice touch from Panasonic which certainly adds value for those looking for a cinematic sound without a room full of speakers. It is very front heavy but the prospect of adding an external subwoofer adds even more value. I used it with a BK Monolith and it created a very dynamic sound stage with a wide and high soundscape.

If you are a hardcore movie fan the HZ1500 offers exceptionally accurate image quality for SDR and HDR sources with an excellent built-in sound system to add the final cinematic touch. Only the HZ2000 is likely to better what is on offer here for movie fans and the HZ1500 comes highly recommended.

Conclusion :

Having now seen most of the OLED contenders in our testing room this year from Panasonic, Sony, LG and Philips, the HZ2000 produces the ultimate in picture quality for movie viewing in a dim room, so they have managed to live up to their own ‛Hollywood to the Home’ hype. The picture quality in SDR and HDR is simply stunning with the best just above black and colour performance from all the contenders this year.

However, all of that image quality goodness does come at a high price. There is no way to sugarcoat the fact that the Panasonic is substantially more expensive than the vast majority of its peers, so is the jump in image quality that noticeable to justify the price?

Well, that is a question only you the reader can answer in respect of what you require from a TV set. If you are a movie viewer who wants the absolute accuracy in OLED picture quality to the industry standards then this is the TV for you, if you can afford it. It does offer the most impressive image quality aligned to how content is intended to be seen, along with a Technics tuned Dolby Atmos sound system with upwards firing speakers in a complete package. If you are not fussed about image accuracy, extra HDR dynamic range and director's intent, then there are numerous cost-effective OLEDs on the market that will produce images to suit those who want bright, vivid and overly colourful images.

The HZ2000 does not have HDMI 2.1 inputs but does support 2.1 features over HDMI 2.0b, namely ALLM (Automatic Low Latency Mode) and eARC. Gaming input lag is a respectable 22ms which should be fast enough for most casual gamers with excellent image quality with HDR games. Obviously, if you must have HDMI 2.1 then the HZ2000 is not the TV for your needs.

This is a flagship TV which has seen extensive engineering to push the technology and that offers the goods for those who are looking for the last word in image quality, along with an impressive sound system. The Panasonic TX-55HZ2000 produces the best image quality I have seen from an OLED TV for movie lovers and is the Best in Class for that use.

Conclusion:

Because all OLED televisions use panels from LG Display, they are very similar when it comes to image quality. Still, Panasonic has managed to improve the display of the HZW2004 compared to the competition. By better combating reflections, but especially by increasing the brightness, this OLED television delivers the best image of all under less favorable light conditions.

The audio system also fits in well with this top TV and sounds very good. Because there is a separate center channel, voices can be heard, even in a busy mix, and the extra height speakers on the top really add something. In addition, a subwoofer can easily be connected to complete the cinema experience without having to place separate speakers in sight.

The finish is beautiful and the included remote control has a luxurious appearance and also handy key lighting. Unique to Panasonic is the presence of a double CI + slot, with which two channels, cable or satellite, can be decoded simultaneously. The interface works well and there is a lot to tweak in the extensive menus.

Not everything is positive about this TV. For example, apps for video services such as Disney + and Videoland are missing. Some gamers will miss HDMI 2.1 ports, which means there is no support for variable frame rates and 4k images cannot be displayed at 120fps. There is no support for dts sound, but fortunately modern audio formats can be output via earc to an external audio system.

All in all, as Panasonic itself indicates, this is a fantastic television for fans of films and series. These must be people who are willing and able to pay a lot of money to get the best of the best. The HZW2004 is very expensive with a price of, at the time of writing, about three thousand euros for the 55 "model we tested.

We compare two 2020 OLED TVs, namely the Panasonic HZ1000 and the Sony A8 (Also marketed as the Bravia A8H in the USA). Topics covered include near-black performance, colour accuracy, motion performance including 120Hz black frame insertion (BFI), video processing including upscaling, HDR including Dolby Vision, as well as input lag for gaming.

Our review sample are both 65 inches in screen size, model number Panasonic TX-65HZ1000B and Sony KD-65A8 respectively.

Panasonic unveils its first Android TVs for Europe...https://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1599734838

With HX700 and HX710, Panasonic will for the first time in Europe offer TVs based on Google's Android TV platform instead of its own Firefox (MyHomeScreen) platform.

43, 50, 55 and 65 inch models,

Αρκεί να μην είναι από την τούρκικη Vestel και να είναι Panasonic assembled in Czech Republic.
Πάντως από την πίσω πλευρά και βλέποντας τις θύρες της και από το τηλεχειριστήριο φαίνεται για το πρώτο.

Assembled in Czech Republic

Verdict

As you would imagine the HZ1000 is exactly the same TV as the HZ1500 minus the Atmos speakers attached. Image quality is identical which means this is the perfect ‛monitor only’ option for those who can’t stretch to the flagship, but still want superb image accuracy right out of the box. It should be pointed out that the HZ980 is not the same panel or processor package, so will not match the HZ1000/HZ1500.

I’m always asked what the best picture settings are on TVs I review and with the Panasonics, this year, it has to be Filmmaker Mode. The accuracy on offer will have professional calibrators anxious.

There is no such thing as the perfect TV, a mantra I have used for nearly 20 years now, and with the HZ1000 there are features and options missing. There are no HDMI 2.1 inputs but it does support eARC and ALLM HDMI 2.1 features via its HDMI 2.0b ports and with a decent 22ms input lag it does well with console gaming in HDR, but it is not the most advanced in terms of gaming compatibility like the LG CX. It also has My Home Screen V5.0 for its smart platform which isn’t as slick as the WebOS of LG, (however, it does have Freeview Play, unlike the CX). Plus, we really do not like the Dolby Vision IQ preset with image manipulation features switched on and greyed out. That doesn’t follow the creator’s intent message and needs to be fixed.

However, with all that said, the Panasonic HZ1000 is an excellent OLED TV for critical movie and TV viewing with superb image accuracy to the industry standards. Watch it in Filmmaker Mode and you can be certain that you are seeing content as it was intended to be seen, and who wouldn’t want that from their TV?

Only the flagship HZ2000 will best the HZ1000 (and HZ1500) for movie fans, but that also comes with a flagship price tag. The HZ1000 is an excellent entry point to cinematic OLED for those who already have the home cinema sound system. It comes highly recommended.
