Apple advertises camera engineer job for iPad

Το iPad πρόκειται να αποκτήσει σύντομα (?) κάμερα!


Σύμφωνα με την σημερινή αγγελία εργασίας που αναρτήθηκε στο site της Apple:

[Job title: Performance QA Engineer, iPad Media Description: The Media Systems team is looking for a software quality engineer with a strong
technical background to test still, video and audio capture and playback frameworks. Build on your QA experience and knowledge of digital
camera technology (still and video) to develop and maintain testing frameworks for both capture and playback pipelines… Experience with
tuning of and image pipeline, including, but not limited to AWB, Color Correction, AutoExposure, FrameRate adjustments is a plus.]


Τώρα γνωρίζουμε ότι τα μελλοντικά iPads θα έχουνε κάμερες. Αλλά δεν ξέρουμε το πότε.

iPad WiFi+3G: 3G Battery Test

Όπως γνωρίζουμε και από το iPhone η κατανάλωση μπαταρίας αυξάνεται κατά την χρησιμοποίηση
του 3G δικτύου. Το ίδιο προφανώς ισχύει και στην περίπτωση του iPad WiFi+3G.

Είναι αναμενόμενο ότι η μπαταρία του iPad θα αδειάσει γρηγορότερα όταν χρησιμοποιούμε
το 3G έναντι του WiFi. Πόσο γρηγορότερα όμως;

8 hours and 38 minutes of continuous reloading and displaying—22 minutes shy of Apple’s estimate.
