...In the default settings of the movie mode, the TV set's gamma was too low (2.1), which made the image too bright for home theater purposes and not as contrasting as it should be. Fortunately, switching the "gamma" from the factory "0" to "+3" improved the situation. It is also worth changing the black level ( brightness ) from 50 to 52, and the white level ( image contrast ) from the factory 100 to 98, which will allow you to recover the brightest details in the lights that are lost in the factory settings.

As for the positive features of this TV, it is worth mentioning that the Philips 43PUS9235 does not use frame dimming , which distinguishes, for example, from some Korean TV sets.

HDR
When watching HDR content, switch from the factory HDR Natural mode , which is too cool, to the much better HDR movie . In this mode, on the test board with an area of ​​10%, the maximum luminance after three minutes of measurement was 366 cd / m ^ 2.

Motion mapping
Dynamic resolution (sharpness of moving pictures) was typical for the best TV sets with 60Hz class LCD matrices and amounted to 450 lines (at 1080 maximum). Smudging was small, and in the tested unit I did not notice the phenomenon of a dirty screen.
 
Philips will be rolling out a firmware update to fix the frame drops with 120fps video signal on the OLED+935 with Bowers & Wilkins speaker bar, restoring the motion clarity and smoothness expected of high frame rate (HFR) content especially in games.

We have tested a beta version of the firmware, and can confirm that there's no longer any discarding of half the frames, or fluctuation in input lag figures at 120fps.

A public version of the firmware update will be available to download from next week, with an OTA rollout being pushed from the third week of March.

Μαγαζί στην Αγγλία ανακοινωσε διαθεσιμότητα για την 55OLED705 ! (με τιμή 1160 €). Πριν αρχισουμε τα πανηγυρια να υπενθυμισω οτι η 705 ειναι αυτουσιο το μοντελο του 2020 (γι αυτο υπάρχει κ διαθεσιμότητα) με αλλο ονομα και ειναι βεβαια το πιο προσιτο φετεινο OLED μοντελο

Από ότι φαίνεται σε κάποιες χώρες η OLED705 ήδη κυκλοφόρησε από την προηγούμενη εβδομάδα. Ήδη έχουν αρχίσει να γράφουν εντυπώσεις σε φόρουμς. Άντε σιγά σιγά να παίρνουμε και εμείς σειρά.

Παρά το οτι ειναι ενα περσινο ξαναζεσταμενο φαγητό, με τη νεα χαμηλοτερη τιμη της ειναι μια ΕΞΑΙΡΕΤΙΚΗ ευκαιρία για μια ποιοτικη κ προσιτή OLED τηλεοραση
 
Πάντως πολλοί αναφέρουν ότι η 705 είναι ίδια με την 805 και της λείπουν μόνο κάποια features στο software. Από ότι καταλαβαίνω πάντως ανεξάρτητα αν είναι μία απλουστευμενη 805 ή όχι είναι ξεκάθαρο ότι με αυτή η Philips θέλει να χτυπήσει την LG A1 ως τη πιο προσιτή OLED στην αγορά.

Ρε παιδιά γιατί μεταφέρθηκαν εδώ τα ποστ??? Η 705 είναι νέα κυκλοφορία, όχι του 2020.

Η 705 καταλήγει στον αριθμό 5 ,άρα είναι σειράς 2020.

Επίσης πρέπει να διευκρινιστεί αν είναι 100/120Hz με MCFI ή 50/60Ηz panel βάσει των πληροφοριών από το ενεργειακό ταμπελάκι της 705 που δίνει στοιχεία για τα Hz του πάνελ.

Παιδιά η 705 μόλις κυκλοφόρησε. Μπορεί να τελειώνει σε 5 αλλά δεν είχε κυκλοφορήσει πέρσι και την βγάλανε φέτος ως μια φτηνή OLED. Η 705 είναι μοντέλο του 2021.

Επίσης έχει πάνελ στα 100/120Hz.

Συγνώμη φίλε μου αλλά είσαι τελείως λάθος. Καλό είναι αν δεν ξέρεις κάτι να μην επιμένεις.

Η 705 ποτέ δεν κυκλοφόρησε το 2020. Ήταν να κυκλοφορήσει αλλά τελικά δεν βγήκε ποτέ στη αγορά και αποφάσισαν να την βγάλουν με την υπόλοιπη φετινή σειρά. Αυτό την κάνει μοντέλο του 2021. Επειδή δηλαδή έχει ένα 5 στο τέλος αν την κυκλοφορήσουν το 2050 θα συνεχίζει να είναι μοντέλο του 2020??? Τι λογική είναι αυτή?
