Παιδία, αναφορικά με το αν μπορούμε να συνδέσουμε εξωτερικό σκληρό δίσκο, η απάντηση (κατευθείαν απο την PIONEER) είναι η εξής:
On the DVR-LX60(D) you can connect an external HDD for MP3, WMA and JPEG, but not for video. The mass storage class (MSC) device should be FAT-compatible. Note that if the hard disc is partitioned (= divided in different pieces) , the recorder may not recognize it.
Αυτό ακριβώς έπαθα κι εγω! Έβαλα μέσα στο σκληρό από 1 ΜΡ3, JPEG, AVI και 'διάβασε' μόνο τα πρώτα 2!!! Μεγάλη μακακία......Εκτός αν κάποιος συνάδελφος έχει καταφέρει να πειράξει το LX60D, πράγμα χλωμό.....
Α, και αναφορικά με τον φίλο που ήταν να αγοράσει το 940HΧ, τα νέα είναι καλύτερα:
The DVR-940HX is the only DVD recorder which can be connected to an external hard disc for video recording only. You can connect it to eSATAHDD's (eSATA HDD = External SATA Hard disc drive). They can only be found in specialized computer stores.
For copyright protection purposes, the external HDD cannot be used with any DVD recorder other than the one that was used to initialize it. If the HDD is connected to another DVD recorder (even of the same type), itwill need to be re-initialized before use. Connection of an external HDDto DVR's equipped with a USB connection is not supported.

The external eSATA hard disk unit can only be used by the DVR-940HX to store video content.
The DVR-940HX only supports connection of one external eSATA HDD unit at a time.
When using an external eSATA HDD unit for the first time, or when connecting an external eSATA HDD unit you have been using with another device, the DVR-940HX checks the disk and then will propose to initialize the disk in order to make it available to this recorder. Initializing the external eSATA HDD unit will erase all the existing data on it.
