Πάντως δεν είναι απόλυτο οτι το 1080p24 είναι πάντα η καλύτερη επιλογή. Ισχύει για τις ταινίες αλλά όχι για τα ντοκυμαντερ. Δημιουργείται είτε "judder" λόγω μετατροπής 25->24 είτε (εαν προτιμηθεί απλά 24/25=4% αργότερη αναπαραγωγή) αλλοίωση των χροιών στον ήχο.
Επίσης είναι πολυ πιθανό σε γρήγορες σκηνές που τραβήχθηκαν σε 50i να φανούν προβλήματα μή ομαλής κίνησης.

"I was at a presentation in Europe (Barcelona) yesterday where this was discussed at length by the head of production of 2entertain. Lesley Johnson. I don't have the slide show yet though so will have to do this from memory.
IIRC it was a mixture of 10801/50 cameras (1440 x 1080i) and super 16 film at 25fps. So there has been frame rate conversion to 24fps. This was done is the VC1 encoder at the time and results in some motion judder and a little mosquitoing it says in my notes. They would have liked to have done a 25p/50i version to get the full fidelity but the players were not all supporting this so they couldn't. She is waiting for Toshiba among others to update its firmware I believe!
