Conclusion

The Samsung UE32J6300 is without doubt the best 32-inch TV we’ve reviewed so far when it comes to picture quality. As more and more buyers opt for larger TVs, the 32 inch segment has become somewhat neglected, with displays of this screen size invariably getting handicapped in the areas of calibration controls, colour accuracy, native 24p playback or motion resolution.

Samsung’s 32in J6300 proved to be a wonderful exception. It offered the full suite of 10-point white balance controls and advanced colour management system (CMS) as found on the company’s higher-end 4K Ultra HD models costing thousands of pounds more, contributing to outstandingly accurate image rendition once greyscale and colours were dialled in. Motion handling was another big step up over other 32-inch televisions we’ve seen: the 32J6300 presented 1080p/24 Blu-ray films smoothly without judder or interpolation, and even had room for an eminently usable black frame insertion (BFI) system to boost motion clarity.

If we had to nitpick, input lag could be lower, though please bear in mind that the numbers posted by the UE32J6300AK were perfectly acceptable for playing video games right before the 2013 and 2014 Sonys as well as 2015 Samsungs came along and blew everything else out of the water. Viewing angles were also not the best, but it’s par for the course for VA LCD panels, and we’d take this over the shallower blacks and reduced contrast that plague IPS screens any day.

And it’s not as if the price of the UE32J6300 is prohibitive; in fact, it’s downright affordable. The recommended retail price (RRP) is set at £500, but street price has already dropped to around £400 at this time of writing. If you’re in the market for a new 32 inch TV, the Samsung UE-32J6300 should be your first choice, even if you’re not a fan of the curved screen format.

Conclusion

The UE55JS9000 is the highest-specced 55-incher in Samsung’s 2015 TV lineup, and its picture quality didn’t disappoint. Depending on the settings used, the display is capable of delivering deep blacks, accurate greyscale, high motion clarity, ultra-low input lag and 4:4:4 chroma reproduction, in addition to the typically excellent video processing we’ve come to expect from the Seoul-headquartered consumer electronics giant.

Surveying the field, the Samsung 55JS9000′s main competition comes from LG’s 55EG960V OLED TV, Sony’s KD-55X9305C and Panasonic’s TX-55CX802B. While the LG, Sony and Panasonic hold the upper hand over the Samsung in outright black level, dimming effectiveness and colour accuracy respectively, none could outperform the UE55JS9000 as a complete package for enjoying movies, sports and video games. Because of its upgradeable One Connect Box and already-available HDR playback, the 55″ Samsung JS9000 is also the most future-proofed among the lot – it truly is a jack of all trades, and master of some.

Verdict

The Samsung UE78JS9500 delivers big-screen thrills in spades with its FALD-enriched blacks, realistic-looking colours, best-in-industry upscaling, high motion clarity and uber-low input lag. Although many prospective buyers will be tempted by the Sony KD75X9405C which represents better value for money especially after a recent price cut to a bargainous £5999, only the Samsung can read and process HDR metadata correctly at this time of publication, and of course the JS9500 offers a degree of future-proofing with its hot-swappable One Connect Box.

Παιδια εκανα factory reset σε μια Samsung ue32f6100 που εχω και τωρα μου βγαζει τα παντα αναποδα τι να κανω;;;;
 
Μήπως γνωρίζει κανεις αν θα έρθει στην Ελλάδα η σειρά 8 με επίπεδη οθόνη (ακα js8000); Την βλέπω να την πουλάνε σε όλη την Ευρώπη, μόνο εδώ δεν την έχουν φέρει ακόμα...

Έκανα τελικά ερώτημα στην Samsung και μου ειπαν ότι δεν έχουν ενημέρωση αν και πότε θα έρθει στην Ελλάδα.
Ωστόσο, η εφαρμογή της Samsung για το κινητό την εμφανίζει ανάμεσα στις διαθέσιμες... Χμμ...
 
Χθες αγόρασα την ue32j6300 (curved) 399ε. Σαν μονιτορ pc. Το μενού αργούσε πολύ και με το firmware VERSION : 1412.1 έφτιαξε αρκετά. Το κακό είναι ότι στο desktop το mouse πάει σε slow motion. Μόνο στο ντέσκτοπ, γενικά και σε παιχνίδι δεν υπάρχει ιδιαίτερο πρόβλημα σε θέμα λαγκ ή κάποιας άλλης καθυστέρησης, νορμαλ πράγματα για tv. Σε game mode πάει κανονικά. Αλλά δεν είναι από lag γιατί και όλα τα settings στο off (true motion, dynamic contrast κλπ) δε βελτιώνεται και πολύ η κατάσταση (ούτε το firm έκανε τπτ). Ίσα ίσα με true motion στο normal δείχνει κάπως ότι βελτιώνεται η κατάσταση οπότε δεν πρέπει να φταίνε αυτά. (Σε παλιότερο μοντέλο samsung 40f6100 με όλα On τέτοιο slow motion δεν εχω δει ποτε) Έχει κανείς καμία ιδέα? Το μόνο που είδα και δε δοκίμασα είναι μία επιλογή Edit Device Type-->PC στο source, το λέει στο manual αλλά δεν είμαι σίγουρος πως γίνεται στο συγκεκριμένο μοντέλο και αν κάνει και δουλειά τελικά.
Κατά τα άλλα η εικόνα είναι πολύ ικανοποιητική και το curve φαίνεται συμπαθητικό και οι γωνίες θέασης αρκετά καλές σε σχέση τουλάχιστον με μία lg 32 ips που είχα.
