We unbox the Samsung QN95A Neo QLED 4K TV with Mini LED backlighting, as well as explain the picture settings in the user menu.
Our review sample is the 65-inch Samsung QE65QN95A, but the flagship Neo QLED 4K television is also available in 55-, 75- and 85-inch screen sizes.

The ANSI contrast ratio was 2675: 1, which is surprisingly low for a VA matrix.
On the other hand, this result is much better than in IPS and ADS panels, which means that the 55Q67A will work well in home cinema.
Despite this, it was visible to the naked eye that in my favorite test scene ( The Revenant , 2015) the blackness is brighter than in last year's 55Q64T.

The maximum brightness on the full screen display was average and amounted to 367 nits.

HDR
In the HDR mode on the 10% board, the maximum luminance after three minutes of measurement was only 420 nits.

Our review sample is the 65-inch Samsung QE65QN95A, but the QN95A is also available in 55-inch (model number QE55QN95A), 75-inch (QE75QN95A) & 85-inch (QE85QN95A) versions.
Note that Samsung's 4K flagship Neo QLED in the USA is the QN90A which should deliver similar picture quality, but lacks the separate One Connect Box, and so only offers one HDMI 2.1 port out of its four HDMI connections.
