Λογικα σε αυτες τις εκδηλωσεις δεν θα επρεπε να παρουσιαζε και κατι <<εξωτικο>> η sony? η καθε sharp, lg κλπ χαζες ειναι που παρουσιαζουν μοντελα με μοναδικα χαρακτηριστικα;
 
Sony's new Tablet S wants to control you HDTV​

Sony unveiled two new tablets at IFA, Tablet S and Tablet P, based on the Android operating system. Sony's tablets have a range of unique features and they not only communicate with TVs, Tablet S can also control TVs as a universal remote. Sony has included an infrared transmitter in Tablet S.

Sony 3D PlayStation TV – φτάνει το Νοέμβριο

Η καταπληκτική PlayStation TV που έχει σχεδιαστεί ειδικά για να μπορούν οι PS gamer και οι PS3 gamers να παίζουν ο ένας απέναντι στον άλλον χωρίς να βλέπουν ο ένας τι κάνει ο άλλος (!) έρχεται. Συγκεκριμένα από τις 2 Νοεμβρίου η οθόνη θα είναι στην αγορά της Άπω Ανατολής.

Το Sony 3D PlayStation monitor θα έχει διάσταση στις 24″, είναι 3D συμβατό και με ένα ζευγάρι 3D γυαλιά και το Resistance 3, όπως και 3μετρο HDMI θα κοστίζει $499.

Καλή τιμή πάντως για αυτά που προσφέρει!Να το δούμε και στην πράξη μιας και πρόκειται πρακτικά για 2 monitors...2 panels!

Conclusion

We really like the 2D picture put out by the Sony KDL-40NX723 LED TV: blacks are decent; greyscale and gamma calibrate extremely well; colours are quite accurate out of the box; and its standard-def video processing is very impressive. It even looks gorgeous switched off to boot.

3D-wise, we’d tone our praise down half a notch owing to crosstalk which, while in line with what we would expect from a non-plasma 3DTV, is nevertheless still present to a certain degree. Fortunately, the fact that greyscale on the Sony KDL40NX723 can be calibrated extremely close to D65 in 3D mode undoubtedly makes extra-dimensional viewing that much more enjoyable.

Ultimately, the single most important issue that may put off potential buyers is the possibility of getting a set affected by the dreaded “crease”. For reasons mentioned earlier in this article, we actually didn’t mind it at all throughout our time spent with the review unit sent to us – after all, most large-sized LCD televisions exhibit screen uniformity issues in one form or another – which is why we still awarded the Sony KDL-40NX723 our “Recommended” badge primarily for its highly competent 2D performance.

Sony admits losing money on every TV it makes; plans "different kind of TV"​

Howard Stringer, CEO of Sony, has said the company is working towards "a different kind of TV set" after admitting it loses money on every TV it makes.

Stringer, speaking to The Wall Street Journal, said Sony has been planning a four screen approach to television that includes mobile devices and tablets.

The new platform for Sony was, Stringer said, driven by a determination to compete with Apple.

“I spent the last five years building a platform so I can compete against Steve Jobs. It’s finished, and it’s launching now,” Stringer said.

And while Sony recently projected a $1.2 billion loss for the year ending in March, Howard Stringer suggested it's not just Sony's TV division that's struggling.

"We can't continue selling TV sets [the way we have been]. Every TV set we all make loses money," he told the WSJ.

It remains to be seen the exact details of the "different kind of TV" that Sony has in mind but you can our review of the new Sony Tablet S in our December issue, out November 16th.

Youtube HD available

Sony will offer a new firmware for all Bravia TVs DLNA. From now on, Youtube videos will be available in 720p and 1080p, Facebook photos and videos can be viewed in full screen, and Twitter has a pop-up display on TV program viewing (or videos).

Note that Sony has also fixed some bugs ..

Δεν ξέρω αν έχει αναφερθεί αλλά πολλες τηλεοράσεις της Ελληνικής αγοράς δεν λένε πλέον made in πίσω,απλά το μοντέλο και στοιχεία παραγωγής.

Ενεργοποιήθηκε και στην Ελλάδα η υπηρεσία. 3d experience για της τηλεόρασης 3d και blu players 3d της sony με αναβάθμιση λογισμικού στις συσκευές αυτές και ειναι καταπληκτικό με τουλάχιστον 30video clips σε 3d kαι στην συνέχεια θα προστεθούν και αλλα ένα μεγάλο μπράβων στην sony

Σχετικά με το made in υπάρχει και το сделано в Испании=made in Spain.

Αν η τηλεόραση δεν το αναφέρει στην ετικέτα στην πλάτη, τότε στο αυτοκόλλητο στο πλαϊνό μέρος του κουτιού της TV.
