Καλά ξεκίνησε ο μήνας με την sigma να προβαίνει σε ανακοινώσεις σχετικά με την FF camera που πρόκειται να κυκλοφορήσει, το 2020 τελικά. Αισθητήρας foveon τριών στρώσεων στα 60,9 mb σε συνεργασία με την TSI:

Ελπίζω μόνο να μην πάρουν τα μυαλά τους αέρα και βγάλουν τη μηχανή σε εξωφρενικά υψηλή τιμή όπως είχαν κάνει αρχικά με την SD1 Merrill.
Δεν προβλέπω πάντως τιμή χαμηλότερη από εκείνη της Panasonic S1R. Κοντά στο 4άρι θα είναι.
Ελπίζω μόνο να μην πάρουν τα μυαλά τους αέρα και βγάλουν τη μηχανή σε εξωφρενικά υψηλή τιμή όπως είχαν κάνει αρχικά με την SD1 Merrill.
Δεν προβλέπω πάντως τιμή χαμηλότερη από εκείνη της Panasonic S1R. Κοντά στο 4άρι θα είναι.
H SD1 Merill δεν ειχε τρελλη τιμη .
Η αρχικη SD1 ειχε τιμολογηθει οταν βγηκε στα 10000$
η SD1 Merill ηταν στην ουσια η "αλλαγη" της καμερας ωστε να δικαιολογησει την τρομακτικη πτωση της τιμης της για να μην παει απατο το προτζεκτ ( που πηγε ετσι κι αλλιως)
Για να δουμε παντως δεν πιστευω οτι θα δουμε τετοια νουμερα, ελπιζω να εμαθαν κατι απο την αποκοτια της SD1

Sigma officially confirmed they will announce a new Full Frame L-mount camera in 2019.
The current Foveon tech is really outdated and superslow. A newly published Sigma patent discloses a way to make the sensor readout much faster Instead of the classic three layer sensor Sigma is working on a dual layer layout. Every pixels has a green layer The second layer has an alterning pattern of red and blue sensible pixels.
It wouldn’t be a TRUE Foveon sensor anymore but it would help Sigma to overcome the speed issues

Μπορει τελικα να μην ισχυαν αυτα ολα .
Γιατι βλεπω οτι ακομα λενε για 3 layers (αλληλουια πιστοι) . Αν ανεβασουν την χρηστικοτητα μεχρι τα 800 Αsa θαναι πολυ καλα .

1) Sigma might use non Foveon sensors in future L-mount cameras. :behead:
2) Sigma might even use an APS-C sensor again.
3) Sigma’s first lens designed for Full Frame mirrorless is coming this year. For sure it will be available for Sony E-mount but it’s easy to guess this lens will be available as native L-mount versison too
4) Moving forward we will release more lenses designed for mirrorless cameras.

Sigma MC-21 adapter preorders will open on April 19

Sigma has announced the Sigma MC-21 SA-L and EF-L adapters will be available starting April 2019 for a cost of $169 USD and $249 USD, respectively.
Sigma also confirms that data pre-loaded on the MC-21 adapters ensures autofocus and aperture control have been optimized for the supported lenses and says future lenses will hold the required data in the lens itself, meaning no firmware updates will be needed. The MC-21 adapters also support EXIF data transfer and various in-camera correction functions including chromatic aberration, peripheral illumination, magnification and distortion.
On the Foveon front, Sigma notes it 'will aim to [eventually] replace its SA-mount lenses with the native L-mount versions, but until then, Foveon shooters can rely on the existing offering of Sigma MC-21 at a lower price point to ease the transition to the new system.

Color spectre derived from Raw images, with Foveon (top) showing much smoother red-to-green transitions and greater ability to capture violet tones that exist beyond the blue filter that the three Bayer cameras can capture.
This image [demonstrated by Mr Yamaki in the interview and reproduced above - the upper strip is from a Foveon sensor, the lower three are from three different Bayer-pattern sensors] is taken by a Foveon sensor. Foveon can capture greater graduation between each color. This is from a Raw file but if the Raw data has the correct response to each wavelength then we can render all these colors in processing.
Πολυ ενδιαφερουσα συνεντευξη απο τον Yamaki και πολυ ενδιαφερουσες τοποθετησεις επι ολης της υλης.
Αραχνη εχει γινει η Sigma που προσπαθει να εχει ενα ποδι της σε καθε συστημα.
Πολυ ενδιαφερον οτι ειπε και για M4/3 φακους....

Εγώ τσίμπησα το ακολουθο ως ενδιαφέρον, οι φακοί τους θα είναι συμβατοί με την τεχνολογία DFD για όσα σωματα (Panasonic) την χρησιμοποιούν στο νέο L mount , ενώ ήταν ψιλό αρνητικός για την χρήση DFD στα μελλοντικά δικά τους σωματα αφού ανέφερε οτι απαιτείται πολύ μεγάλη υπολογιστική ισχύς.
Yes, that's why Panasonic, Sigma and Leica engineers [are working] together to enhance the L-mount system. We keep upgrading the L-mount system for much more communication between the lens and body to support technologies like DFD.

I'm aware some users want very lightweight, small camera bodies and small lenses.They might want to use the big, heavy lenses for some occasions, but for casual shooting, like street photography, they might wish for smaller lenses. I can't comment but maybe in the future we may be able to deliver such products.

Πολυ ενδιαφερον εχει η ιστορια για τον σχεδιαστη του 60-600 αλλα και την μεγαλυτερη σε ποσοτητα χρησιμοποιηση μαγνησιου.
Προσωπικα θα θελα να ειναι καλος φωτογραφικα και να μπορει να ανεβει λιγο σε iso και ας μην εχει καθολου βιντεο.
Βιντεο λυσεις σοβαρες υπαρχουν . Φωτογραφικες εναλλακτικες των αισθητηρων bayer καμμια αλλη περαν των foveon (ακομα)

Αυτό δεν το πολυκατάλαβα, εννοούν φακούς μικρούς σε μέγεθος ή οτι θα βγει μηχανή L mount με αισθητήρα APS-C?
Αν φωτογραφικά καταφέρουν να βγάλουν κάτι πολύ αξιόλογο με Foveon θα με δελεάσουν να σπάσω το εμπάργκο και να πάρω FF με 1-2 φακουδακια για χρήση τοπίου.
Αυτό δεν το πολυκατάλαβα, εννοούν φακούς μικρούς σε μέγεθος ή οτι θα βγει μηχανή L mount με αισθητήρα APS-C?
Αν φωτογραφικά καταφέρουν να βγάλουν κάτι πολύ αξιόλογο με Foveon θα με δελεάσουν να σπάσω το εμπάργκο και να πάρω FF με 1-2 φακουδακια για χρήση τοπίου.

πολύ θα ήθελα να δω ένα άλμα στις φωτογραφικές δυνατότητες των αισθητήρων και ας μην τραβούσε καθόλου βίντεο
Κατι εχει συμβει παντως με τον MC21.
Εκει που ειχαν δηλωσει οτι θα ειναι συμβατος και με τις παρουσες Leica μηχανες ξαφνικα ειπαν οτι αυτο θα γινει με τις μελλοντικες Leica και το κυριοτερο παρουσιασαν πολυ σημαντικες υπαναχωρησεις σε σχεση με τις δυνατοτητες των MC21 και την χρηση τους στις Lumix S1,S1R,S1H. (οχι μονο την ελλειψη συμβατοτητας με το CAF)

Please note the following information when using the SIGMA MOUNT CONVERTER MC-21 in combination with LUMIX S1 and LUMIX S1R released by Panasonic Corporation.
・Only AF-S works in Autofocus Mode. AF-C cannot be selected.
・The Auto continuous operation cannot be used during video shooting.
・Touch AF cannot be used.
・With lenses incorporating MO (Manual Override), operation in manual mode is possible only after focusing.
・MF guide is not available.
・The image stabilization function inside the camera body and the lens cannot be used simultaneously. Please ensure only one of these is selected.
・The AF Function Button and the Focus Preset Button incorporated on some lenses cannot be used.
Compatibility with other cameras
When we announced the MC-21 on February 26th, 2019, we mentioned that it was compatible with cameras manufactured by Leica Camera AG. However, the specifications have changed and it will not be compatible with Leica’s existing L-Mount cameras. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this situation may have caused.
