Canon Patent Application: It's Back - Canon's Handheld Vlogging ILC

We discovered this series of patent applications almost a year ago, and it's back with another patent application. This is interesting, as it shows that Canon is still working out how to manufacturer this device as of at least April of last year which was the application date of this patent...

The Canon EOS R5c is coming in the first quarter of 2022 [CR2]

Canon EOS R5C Information​

  • 45mp full-frame sensor (Same as the EOS R5)
  • DIGIC X
  • Canon Log 3
  • Canon Log 2 is still being discussed
  • Unlimited 8K30P recording in Cinema RAW Light. XF-AVC and MP4
  • Timecode in/out
  • The same multipurpose hot shoe as the EOS R3. Which will work with accessories such as the Tascam XLR module.
  • Active cooling
  • 3/8″ or 1/4″ mounting point on the EVF for a top handle that won’t interfere with the hot shoe.
  • Full-size HDMI Port
  • The LCD has been moved further back to accommodate the cooling fan. So this likely means that it won’t recess into the body like the Canon EOS R5.

Canon USA has taken to social media to tease the release of a new Cinema EOS camera system. The announcement is set to take place at 7am (EST) on January 19, 2022.

Canon Cinema EOS C70 Firmware​

Canon will announce new firmware for the Canon Cinema EOS C70. The new firmware will add RAW. I don’t know if it’s external or internal.

New Cinema Lenses!​

Canon will announce new compact cinema zoom lenses. I think it’s safe to assume that the RF mount will be offered.

New 8K Options?​


The Canon Cinema EOS C300 Mark III and Canon Cinema EOS C500 Mark II will get new modules. It’s been rumored for quite some time that we’d see 8K versions of these cameras. I haven’t confirmed what the “modules” are, but I think Canon is about to go all-in on 8K.

Αν καταλαβα καλα και η Canon κανα εισαγωγικο μοντελο θα διατηρησει στην γραμμη παραγωγης της και την οποια εξελιξη του για μια ακομα τριετια και μετα παπαλα.....

Η Νικον αν το κανει ομοιως.

Οποτε δεν εχει νοημα να περιμενουμε σοβαρα σωματα dslr πλεον.

Εχει ενδιαφερον παντως αν η Canon βγαλει για πρωτη φορα καμερες (ακαθρεπτες πλεον) χωρις evf για να χτυπησει προφανως (αφου αυτοι οι δυο παιχτες αυτην τη στιγμη εμειναν να χτυπιουνται στα ψηλα αλωνια ) την σειρα 6*** της Σονυ.

Ειμαι περιεργος και ποτε θα σταματησουν την παραγωγη και διαθεση της RP και R
 
Δυστυχώς η Canon αυξάνει αθόρυβα τις τιμές σε φακούς RF.

Είχα παραγγείλει πριν ένα μήνα από Ελληνικό κατάστημα τον RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM στα 1.150 Ευρώ.
Πριν μια βδομάδα με πήραν τηλέφωνο ότι έχει έρθει ο φακός με αυξημένη τιμή στα 1.550 Ευρώ.
Φυσικά δεν τον αγόρασα..... Αν δεν μπουν στο παιχνίδι η sigma και η tamron δεν μας βλέπω καλά!!!
