What is QPAF?


Canon right now splits the pixel in half and uses the difference in the signal from the one half and the other half to determine how far away the focus is. Using this information Canon can calculate the distance the lens has to move to focus on the target at that pixel. However, this method is prone to be very inaccurate if the lines of contrast that you are focusing on, are aligned to the split of the pixels, since then the signal difference would be minimal. This means that usually these sensors are better suited to focus on vertical lines, versus horizontal which they can struggle with.

Στα χαρτια τους ειδα.

Κατσε να δουμε και τι απο τους δυο θα βγει (αποκλειω και ο 35-70 το παλαι ποτε συνηθες εστιακο μηκος μεσαιου ζουμ και ο 28-70 δηλαδη το επομενο επιτευγμα)

Σαν ποτ πουρι ειναι αυτοι οι σχεδιασμοι με δημιουργικο κερασακι το DS και το εξωτικα ανοιχτο διαφραγμα....

Αν το τωρινο 28-70 f2 ειναι τετοιο τερατακι σε βαρος και χρημα καταλαβαινουμε τι θα ειναι αυτοι...

Μία ανάρτηση από το γνωστό site που ασχολείται με ενδεχόμενες επικείμενες κυκλοφορίες της Canon. Μεταξύ άλλων,
δύο πολυαναμενόμενα σώματα τα EOS R5 II και η ναυαρχίδα R1,
η R5 II αναμένεται να ανακοινωθεί τον Απρίλιο. Για την R1 αναμένεται να υπάρξει ανακοίνωση ανάπτυξης.

Επίσης ο πολυαναμενόμενος RF 35 1,2L αναμένεται να ανακοινωθεί ταυτόχρονα με την R5 ΙΙ και ο RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Z, με power και internal zoom, πριν τον Ιούλιο.

O Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Z θα ειναι το ταιρι μαλλον του 24-105 f2,8 Z και θα ειναι συμβατος και αυτος με το μοτερ για power zoom.

Θα μπορουσε να ειναι πιο ταιριαστο ως ευρος παντως πχ 100-250mm.
