It looks like the EOS R6 Mark III will get the new 32mp sensor that we see in the recently announced Cinema EOS C50. I think most of us out there figured that would be the way things could go.

Canon EOS R6 Mark III and RF 45mm f/1.2 STM Coming November 6 and Specifications​

Below are the core specifications that we could find out. It looks very similar to the Cinema EOS C50, but I don’t know what the differences are when it comes to video recording. The only thing hardware wise that I can think of, is that the EOS R6 Mark III is highly unlikely to have active cooling.

The EOS R6 Mark III is probably why Canon didn’t release all that much about the photo capabilities of the Cinema EOS C50.

Καλο νεο οτι τα fps της φωτογραφικης παρεμειναν στα 40 (αρχικα κυκλοφορουσε οτι πανε για 30).

Αν η τιμη ερθει γρηγορα σε πιο λογικα επιπεδα μαλλον θα αντικαταστησει την R6II μου μιας και συνδυαζει τα καλα και των δυο μεχρι προτινος καμερων μου δηλαδη τα ανω των 30mp της Eos R και ολα τα νεωτερα addons της R6 σειρας.

Να δουμε αν θα βαλουν και clog2 που αμφιβαλλω....

  • Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with “multiple subject detections” (including humans, animals, vehicles, and possibly your dignity).
  • IBIS rated for 6.5 stops of compensation.
  • Pre-capture mode, for when you hit the shutter a second too late.
  • 40fps electronic shutter (in case you needed 400 identical photos of someone blinking).
  • Max ISO: 64,000 (aka “grain is a creative choice”).
  • Open gate video mode.
  • €2899 / $2899.
  • Shipping “late November,” which is Canon’s poetic way of saying “maybe before Christmas.”
Unconfirmed (but we’re feeling spicy):

  • Dual UHS-II SD card slots (finally, equality for memory cards).
  • Full-size HDMI port (hallelujah, no more micro-HDMI trauma).
  • LP-E6P battery, sort of compatible with older ones if you jiggle it just right.
  • C-Log 3, because marketing needs a new checkbox.
  • Dynamic range slightly less than the C50’s 16 stops (but hey, who’s counting stops when you can count likes?).
  • The same 3” articulating LCD (because innovation is exhausting).

  • DIGIC Accelerator processor (faster, somehow).
  • Passive venting, meaning Canon found a way to make “no fan” sound like a feature.

Αυτά είναι λίγο περιττά θα έλεγα.
Κυριολεκτικά αύριο θα γίνει η επίσημη ανακοίνωση.
 
Για εμας που ειμαστε βαθια στο συστημα της Canon δεν περνουν οι ημερες παντως.

Οχι για την παρουσιαση μιας και πανω κατω ξερουμε τι θα εχει η καμερα αλλα για τις πρωτες της μετρησεις και σοβαρα τεστς για να δουμε αν εχει νοημα να αναβαθμιστουμε (στο βιντεο προφανως και θα εχει) αλλα κυριως να δουμε αν η R5 σειρα αποκτα σοβαρο αντιπαλο στην αγορα της Canon .
