Παναγιώτη, πριν περίπου τέσσερα χρόνια ήμουν σε ένα δισκάδικο και προσπαθούσε ο αυτός που είχε το μαγαζί να με πείσει να πάρω Millie. Μου έβαζε διάφορα και εγώ τον έγραφα επιδεικτικά. Με το που μπήκε το συγκεκριμένο “κόπηκα”άσχημα. Τι εισαγωγή είναι αυτή?? Το αποτέλεσμα ήταν να πάρω όλους τους δίσκους που έκανε στα 70ς.Είναι υποτιμημένη τραγουδίστρια. Υπήρξε βέβαια υπερβολική κυρίως όσον αφορά την εμμονή της με τους κακούς και άπιστους άνδρες αλλά είναι παραπάνω από γνήσια soul φωνή, και έχει τουλάχιστον τρεις δίσκους που θα άξιζαν παρουσίαση.

Πιο μικρός κυρίως επικεντρωνόμουνα σε αυτό, στο superfly και στο Freddie s dead. Με τα χρόνια άρχισα να καταλαβαίνω κομμάτια όπως το Eddie you should Know Better ή το Little Child Runnin' Wild

Από το Superfly O.S.T. άλμα στο αυτοσαρκαστικό lay me low του Νικολάκη (από το let love in, έναν από τους δίσκους που θα χρειαστώ απαραίτητα στην άλλη ζωή...), κι από εκεί στο Schism προτεινόμενο μάλιστα από τη θιασώτισσα κυρίως της κλασσικής symphionie fantastique....

συμφωνω απολυτα σ’ολα αυτα που ειπες.ειναι απο τις πιο αδικημενες φωνες της soul,οπως επισης οτι ειχε μια εμμονη με το κερατο.τα κουτσομπολια ελεγαν οτι ηταν για χρονια ερωμενη του Isaac Hayes.
δεν τους εχω ακουσει ολους αλλα οτι εχω ακουσει ειναι πανω απο καλο.

ακριβως το ιδιο και εγω ρε γιωργο. ιδιως το Little Child Runnin' Wild ειναι κορυφαιοκαι διαθετει ισως και την καλυτερη ενορχηστρωση του δισκου.
σαν δισκος ειναι απο τα τοτεμ της σοουλ και οφειλουμε μια παρουσιαση...
