Δοκιμή του AVC-X8500HA από το audio.com.pl
Με φορτίο 8Ω
«To begin with, we set the selector to the 8 Ω position and connect the 8 ohm resistances. When we load one channel in this way, we get 197 W, while two -
2 x 183 W; in five-channel mode, the power drop in individual channels must be more noticeable due to the limited capabilities of the common power supply, but the
5 x 146 W result is excellent.
We end this series of measurements with a load of 11 channels, each with 65 W. We have not tested all thirteen channels at once, because we do not have so many measurement loads ... However, it can be estimated that it would be about 55 W, because the total power seems to be a bit exceed 700 W.»
Με φορτίο 4Ω αλλά τη ρύθμιση στα 8Ω
The second series of measurements may raise doubts as to whether it should be performed at all, but its practical importance will turn out to be of key importance. This time we connect 4-ohm loads, but still at the 8 Ω selector position.
It is both a simulation of the user's behavior, who is misled by the loudspeaker manufacturer as to the actual nominal impedance (about 50% of cases ...), and users who will follow our findings ...
The power increases significantly to 324 W with one driven channel,
2 x 251 W with two; with five it is not much, but still up to
5 x 160 W. And with eleven? We will not give the results anymore, because earlier, with 7 channels, with a power of 7 x 70 W, the protection circuits are activated, so we decided not to tire the AVC-X8500HA any longer.
It is enough for us to know that such a "mistake" will in practice bring us a significant increase in power with little risk of the device turning off in extreme, rather theoretical situations - the surround channels do not receive signals that could cause them to be driven in such a way.
Με φορτίο 4Ω και τη ρύθμιση στα 4Ω
And now, sticking to a 4-ohm load, we're putting the AVC-8500HA into 4-ohm mode. This is the situation that would occur most often if users were aware that their loudspeakers are just 4 ohms and not (as stated in their specifications) 8 ohms, and at the same time they would not know the results of our measurements ...
Anyone who expects an even greater increase in power thanks to the "optimization" of the power amplifiers for the impedance of 4 Ω will be disappointed. The power drops drastically to
92 W with one or two channels being driven, in the five-channel setting we have
5 x 78 W, and finally in the eleven-channel one -
11 x 61 W, so almost the same as at 8 Ω.
Czym nas jeszcze zaskoczą amplitunery wielokanałowe? Opanowano w nich zarządzanie funkcjami strumieniowymi, a ze smarftonami znają się jak ...
