1) Put the Subtitles in UTF-8 mode at the hdx bd1 settings.
2) Open the .srt file with notepad and click "Save as" . At the bottom of the displayed window you will see the option "encode" which probably set to ANSI. Change it to UTF-8 and save .
3) Enjoy !!
P.S. Embedded .pgs subs in m2ts files have no problems.
