Ανακοινώθηκε επίσημα ότι στις 23 Μαρτίου το PS3 θα είναι στα ράφια της Ευρώπης.

"Εδώ και αρκετές εβδομάδες οι φήμες για την κυκλοφορία του PlayStation 3 στην αγορά της Ευρώπης έδιναν κι έπαιρναν. Σύμφωνα με το δελτίο Τύπου της εταιρίας που δημοσιεύτηκε στις 2 τα ξημερώματα, το PlayStation 3 θα βρίσκεται στα ράφια των ευρωπαϊκών (και των ελληνικών) καταστημάτων στις 23 Μαρτίου 2007. Το μοναδικό από τα δύο πακέτα που θα φτάσει στην Ευρώπη αρχικά είναι αυτό με τον σκληρό δίσκο των 60GB με την τιμή του να αγγίζει τα 599. Για το πακέτο των 20GB η Sony διαβεβαίωση ότι πιθανότατα θα ακολουθήσει μέσα στην χρονιά, αν και εφόσον βέβαια δημιουργηθεί η απαιτούμενη ζήτηση.
Το εντυπωσιακό στοιχείο είναι ότι το σύστημα θα συνοδευτεί από 30 παιχνίδια (είτε που θα προσφέρονται με την μορφή δίσκων στα καταστήματα, είτε μέσα από το PlayStation Store, το δικτυακό κατάστημα του PS3). Αναλυτικά, τα παιχνίδια που θα διατίθενται από την πρώτη μέρα είναι τα ακόλουθα:

"£425 for the 60GB model, with the lower priced 20GB model to follow later in the year “dependent on demand.” Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has finally ended the speculation and set a date for PlayStation 3 in Europe: 23 March. A million units are being forecast for all of Europe to cover what’s sure to be a hectic launch period, it hasn’t been specified how many of these will reach the UK. For everyone who manages to secure one of these first machines, there will be 30 software titles to choose from within the “launch period” (this can mean several months).
Sony claims that retail and consumer demand has influenced the decision to leave the 20GB version out of the equation to begin with. This leaves UK punters with no option but to go the whole hog and pay £425 for the 60GB system, but apparently we asked for this so no complaints right?
The launch games seem identical to that of the US and Japanese line-up, with Resistance: Fall of Man, MotorStorm, Genji: Days of the Blade, FORMULA ONE CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION and Ridge Racer 7 leading the charge through SCEE. Sony is also brandishing a wealth of third party support from the world’s foremost publishers – Electronic Arts, Activision, Namco Bandai, Sega, Take 2, Ubisoft, Vivendi Universal, and Sony Online Entertainment.
No false starts for the PlayStation Network; this will be up and running from day one with the much vaunted demo of “Gran Turismo HD Concept” to download alongside a demo of Tekken: Dark Resurrection. PlayStation Network will also be geared up to cater for more casual players with a ‛coffee-break’ roster that includes Go! Sudoku, Go! Puzzle, and arcade style action in the form of Blast Factor and flow. An extra treat, if you can call it that, will be a new System Update as soon as you join PlayStation Network for the first time."

Βλεπω να πεφτουνε μαπες μεσα στον Κωτσοβολο και απο εξω βλεπω να εχουμε το φαινομενο του τσαντακια με ειδικοτητα PS3. Θα πεσει ξυλο λεμε

Για το blu-ray που εχει ειναι πολυ καλη η τιμη του αλλα ο Ελληνας μπαμπας που μαλλον δεν ξερει τι εστι blu-ray και που μαλλον δεν τον ενδιαφερει κιολας θα το σκεφτει πολυ για να παρει μια κονσολα για να παιζει ο γιος του παιχνιδια. Ειναι και θεμα marketing φυσικα.

Ενα αλλο προβλημα που θα δημιουργηθει ειναι με ολους αυτους που δεν εχουνε HD Tv. Θα πρεπει να μπουνε στο τρυπακι να δωσουνε λεφτα και για TV. Μετα το κοστος ξεφευγει. Βεβαια δεν αμφιβαλω οτι πολοι θα το παρουνε και δεν θα παρουνε tv. Απο ασχετους μεχρι και σχετικους

Για κάποιον γονιό που θα θέλει ο πιτσιρικάς μια παιχνιδομηχανή για παιχνίδια είναι πολλά τα 600 ευρώ.
Για τα πιτσιρίκια εμάς όμως είναι σούπερ !
