O μεσος χρηστης θα εχει θεματακια, δεν εχει USB-firewire αρα θα πρεπει να παρει ενα Interface που να δινει HDMI για I2S με καποιο εξτρα κοστος.
 
Παιδιά συγνώμμη αλλά 3200 δολλάρια χωρίς να το έχει ακούσει κάποιος είναι τεράαααστιο πείραμα!

Μπορεί και παραμπορεί να τον κατηγορήσει,με εμάς που βρήκε εδώ έμπλεξε...
Τι μήκος θα έχει παρακαλώ το i2s από πλακέτα σε πλακέτα; (κι όχι μόνο από τις εξόδους...)
Την ώρα που δεν πρέπει να ξεπερνάμε τα 10 εκατοστά;

Άμα σου λέω έμπλεξε....:flipout:
 
Ξέρουμε το ποιόν του σχεδιαστή. Αυτό μάλλον αρκεί(?)

Είσαι αδιόρθωτος... :)
 
Μόλις δοκίμασα λειτουργία σε NOS (προσθήκη ενός jumper στο εσωτερικό).

Και εκεί που περίμενα σε κάποιο βαθμό "λάσπη" στο συνολικό άκουσμα, παίρνω ένα αποτέλεσμα που θα μπορούσα να το χαρακτηρίσω αυξημένο "πλούτο" αρμονικών, πιο "αναλογικό", χωρίς όμως να επηρεάζονται αρνητικά τα δυναμικά.

Πολύ ενδιαφέρον! Θα επανέλθω...
 
Επανήλθα αλλά όχι όπως θα περίμενε κανείς...

Δυστυχώς, το dac, παρόλο τον εξαίσιο ήχο του παρουσίασε από την αρχή ένα σοβαρότατο πρόβλημα (http://avclub.gr/forum/showthread.php/122459-Υψηλό-dc-offset-σε-Audio-gd-dac-Διερεύνηση-Επίλυση).

Το πρόβλημα δεν μπορούσε να λυθεί με απλό τρόπο. Τόσο ο κατασκευαστής (Kingwa) όσο και ο πωλητής (http://www.interprojekt.com.pl/index.php?language=en/) προσπαθούσαν να με πείσουν ότι δεν τρέχει και τίποτα...

Με τα χίλια ζόρια, ο Πολωνός πωλητής πείθεται (...δεν ήταν και δύσκολο :) ) ότι δεν έχει άλλη επιλογή από τα να μου στείλει καινούρια μονάδα.

Μετά από καμιά δεκαριά μέρες, έρχεται το "νέο" dac στην ίδια συσκευασία του παλιού (την είχα σταμπάρει πριν την αποστολή)!

Το πρώτο πράγμα που έκανα ήταν να εξαλείψω του φόβους μου. Δυστυχώς όμως!

Το offset ήταν αμελητέο μεν αλλά το εσωτερικό της νέας μονάδας ήταν τρισάθλιο. Κόλλες καφέ απόχρωσης και spills από ένα λευκό πράγμα στους μεγάλους πυκνωτές τροφοδοσίας.

ΚΑΜΙΑ σχέση με την εσωτερική τάξη της πρώτης μονάδας. Τότε όπως καταλαβαίνετε τελειώσαν όλα...

Το dac επιστρέφεται πίσω μέσω full refund και το τέλος της ιστορίας επιβεβαιώνει τους αρχικούς φόβους μου / μας!

Παρακάτω το email που έστειλα στον Πολωνό με τις παρατηρήσεις που αφορούν στην τελευταία παραλαβή:

I received the new DAC yesterday but unfortunately I cannot say I'm happy.


The good: Of course the output dc offset is negligible (< 5 mV), as manufacturer specifies.


Now the bad:


1. You sent me a non-TCXO version. The usb interface includes the simple clock, in contrast to what you told via email the last time. Also the package does not denote TCXO version! For proof, please see the attached photos showing the interior of the old and the new unit.


2. The usb receptacle on the back of the unit feels very "flare". The mating plug on the cable is very loose when inserted in. The first time I inserted the cable, my PC couldn't see the DAC. After pushing the cable further, the usb connection was restored. It seems that either the receptacle on the usb interface is very crappy or this specific interface has been used many times in the past.


3. You sent me an item previously opened - no silver seal, visual signs of tear from screw removal / re-installation. Of course, the customer can open the unit to adjust the settings (CPU mode) via jumpers, according to his/her preferences, but the item you sent me had no silver label as the old unit.


4. You forgot to include the bag with jumpers as with the old unit - insignificant.


5. The unit you sent me seems to have been manufactured back in 2012. The old one (with the offset problem) was manufactured in 2013 and looked way much "fresher" mostly in the insides (glue on flat cable connectors got brown as you can see from the attached photo of the new unit). Besides, one of the regulator heatsinks has deformed fins, but I do not consider this as significant.


6. The wires used for the input / output connectors is the standard black one, and not the transparent OCC one as the old unit. For proof, please see the attached photo of the old unit. Also, this is not very significant.


7. The WORST of all is that the sound from the usb input if clearly inferior that the old unit. Very flat and unexciting. Unfortunately!! And I remember VERY WELL how the old unit sounded when I first turned it on!!



I know that reading all of the above does not make you feel comfortable. Imagine myself writing all this!


Unfortunately, I have lost all my willingness with this purchase. It might not be your fault.


But I have to say: I expected much more from you based on your reputation.


I expected to give attention to all details before sending the new(?) unit.


I'll call you tomorrow from my job to discuss on how we'll proceed. In fact, I am very disappointed...

Τα συμπεράσματα δικά σας.

Για μένα την ευθύνη την επωμίζονται πωλητής (50%) και κατασκευαστής (50%).
 
Το κομμάτι αντικατάστασης είναι προφανώς ένα παλιό, διαφορετικών προδιαγραφών που είχε περισσέψει και το έστειλαν γιατί δεν θα υπήρχε άλλο. Αν ήταν μάγκες θα μπρουσαν να στείλουν το νέο σχέδιο παραπλήσιας τοπολογιας.

Υπάρχουν κι αλλού πορτοκαλιές...
 
Πολλές φορές οι εταιρίες όταν παίρνουν πίσω ένα ελαττωματικό ή χαλασμένο μηχανάκι, το επισκευάζουν και το στέλνουν σε κάποιον άλλο πελάτη που είχε στείλει το δικό του για επιστροφή. Μάλλον κάτι τέτοιο θα έγινε και θα σου έστειλαν ένα παλαιότερο χεριασμένο από κάποιον άσχετο που ήθελε να επισκευασει τη βλάβη που είχε όταν ο πελάτης το έστειλε πίσω.

Και αν υπάρξει απάντηση θα ήταν ενδιαφερον να τη γνωρίζουμε, μιας και είναι απορίας άξιον το τι μπορεί να πει όταν στέλνει ένα τέτοιο μηχάνημα!

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear about the further problems. As you know this product
is discontinued and the pieces we have on stock are the last we're able
to buy. Regarding the production date - it's been purchased along with
the previous one, so it's not significant in this case.

Ass we never ordereded this model without TCXO clock, we was convinced
it is installed. We were wrong and I'm sorry for this.

Regarding missing seals - I believe it's not an issue - warranty terms
are as usual and it changes nothing and we do not stop customers from
opening the cases.

I understand your feelings, but also I would remind that in first case
(to high offset) it wasn't our failure - damaged unit are somehing
normal (however rare) even in high-end products. In second time - you're
right - it's definitely our mistake.

As a solution, next to your one, I can propose that we will ship TCXO
resonator to you so you can replace it. Of course final decision is yours.

Ετσι ειναι τα περισσοτερα κινεζικα ζαρια ριχνεις,και δεν εδωσες και λιγα,
καλα εκανες και το στειλες.
Τωρα τι λενε οτι παιζουν σουπερ δεν ξερω, κανε μια χαρη στον εαυτο σου να ακουσεις ενα πραγματικα καλο για να εχεις αναφορα.
Φτιαξε κατι αφου σ αρεσει αυτο,γιατι επωνυμα δεν θες απ οτι εχω καταλαβει.
