Dear all,
I don't care about the 35 euros. I care about the support you providing for one of your top products.
In any way you are telling me that if you buy a 2.500 euro projector and you find a bug in the firmware, something that is logical, you are not giving the client the option to update on his own the equipment but we must bring it to the service and pay 35 euros.
Can you image this for your mobile phone ? For your smart tv and for any other equipment you have ?
Really this is your official answer and the policy of your company ? If it is I will accept it, but you must accept that only for this I am not going to propose to anyone to buy a BenQ product or for my self.
Best Regards,
Ioannis xx(a loyal BenQ customer until now)

Technical Support Query
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Subject: Firmware Upgrade Charge
Dear all,
I would like to express my disappointment about the charge (35 euros) that Greek
Support – Service Company (CPI http://www.cpi.gr) wants for a simple firmware upgrade.
At October 2012 I have purchased a BenQ W7000+ from a physical store in Athens
(AudioShow http://www.audioshow.gr) for 2.600 euros. After contacting the local service
for a firmware upgrade in my projector which solves critical issues they informed
me that they will charge me 35 euro for the upgrade because the projector has not
been purchased from them.
I would like to have an official answer.
