After unpacking, a small black receivertje from the protective of equal size as the DM600PVR. . The DM800HD But unlike the DM600PVR equipped with a network flap behind which the card is in and a surprisingly beautiful little OLED display.

The first use
The DM800HD I was supplied with the latest version of VDEV yesterday.

As a hobbyist, I would still testing CCcam and newc.
After the kill the watchdog and dccamd the meantime I started to box copied CCcam MIPS version

Now I see that the DM800HD the image of the SDTV channels nicely upscaled to 1080i, for example by me several months ago tested Humax 2000 does not do. Het SDTV beeld is dan ook erg goed. The SDTV picture is also very good.

Alternative software

I think a driver isssue. again the other firmware testing to make sure it is gone (EDIT: With the VDEV today no audio problems). Through the optical audio output sounds perfect. It also strikes me that in the meantime the DM800HD subscribed smart card does not work.After further study shows the device sci0 present, but by cccam not be recognized.
Newc see him very much, but the taktfreqentie is not interpreted correctly (13.7 Mhz).The driver is still not good, or newc and ccam need to be adjusted, it works in any case not as it should work. I can go so far no problems discovered.
Recording HDTV and SDTV on already subscribed samsung 2.5 "120GB HDD is perfect, timeshifting. Coils goes smoother than in 7025. The images are unencrypted. The HDTV pictures!
What is not working properly, the picture is a graphic image in the ronaldd.The statue is just a small piece of the actual TV viewing instead of a miniature whole picture.I suspect that a software adjustment is required.
Provisional conclusion:
I'm very positively surprised.Dream has fulfilled his name.they deliver a quick and extremely small single HDTV tuner PVR with PnP tuner and extremely powerful features. Especially the small but sharp OLED display, I think super! HDMI + HDCP (via included cable) works perfectly!
I have even tested with my own Monster DVI-> HDMI cable from 3 meters and also that works.
My 1.20 master virtually all satellite channel to my decision, but I think the HDTV offer is still too insubstantial to 449.00 euros that you will be lighter for some DM800HD to justify.
