Η σειρά ειναι ενα love letter στην ιστορία του κινηματογράφου, προτείνετε για όλους τους θεατές και ειδικότερα σε αυτούς που μια ταινία, δεν τελειώνει οταν πέφτουν τα end credits.
Τα θετικά: ειναι μάλλον απο τις λίγες που προσπαθούν να κοιτάξουν πραγματικά, την ιστορία του παγκόσμιου κινηματογράφου και όχι μόνο του Αμερικάνικου, Ευρωπαικού και Ιαπωνικού. Πολύ καλές παρατηρήσεις/αναλύσεις απο τις επιλεγμένες ταινιες.
Τα αρνητικά: φθηνή παραγωγή που μπορεί να αποθαρρύνει κάποιους, παραλείπει δεκάδες αλλες καινοτόμες ταινίες αλλα προσπαθεί να δώσει μια γεύση απο σχεδόν όλα τα είδη. Ελάχιστες αναφορές στον πειραματικό και εθνογραφικό κινηματογράφο και στα ντοκιμαντέρ.
Εξαιρετική η παρατήρηση του Mark, οτι ο 21 αιώνας ανήκει στο ντοκιμαντέρ και στις ταινίες που δανείζονται τις τεχνικές του.
Θα ήθελα και κάτι αντίστοιχο για την ιστορία των TV Series, αλλα υπάρχουν πραγματικές καινοτομίες στις σειρές;
Πάντως ενα τέτοιο εγχείρημα, να δείξει κάποιος την εξέλιξη των σειρών και πως αυτές επηρρεάζονται απο τον κινηματογράφο και τις πολιτικές, οικονομικές εξελίξεις, αλλα και ποιές τελικά προτιμάει ο κόσμος, θα ειχε ενδιαφέρον.
