- Very big and very heavy
- Focus accuracy during bursts not quite at Sony level

Sigma has announced the 17-40mm f/1.8 DC Art lens, what it calls the successor to the beloved 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art lens.
The Sigma 17-40mm f/1.8 DC Art APS-C lens will be available for Fujifilm X mount, Sony E mount, and Leica L mount starting on July 10. It will come to Canon RF mount starting some time in August. It will cost $919 on all mounts.

Ουσιαστικα ειναι η εξελιξη του πιο επιτυχημενου crop zoom φακου του θρυλικου 18-35 f1,8 που πρεπει να ειναι στα χερια ολων σχεδων των κινηματογραφιστων.
Βεβαια τοτε βγηκε στην μοντουρα EF, F αρα η επιτυχια ηταν εξασφαλισμενη λογω κοινου αγορας.
Τωρα να δουμε που θα κινηθει....λογικα θα μπει και στο RF και στο Ζ

Κοιτα λενε οτι ειναι βελτιωμενος σε ΟΛΑ απο τον 18-35 με μια αδυναμια στο τερμα ανοιχτο μονο (17mm) . Προσωπικα πιστευω οτι το 35-40mm που μπηκε ειναι το μεγαλο ατου αλλα δεν ξερω αν αξιζει να σκασεις το χιλιαρικο με το που βγηκε .

Για τη Sony a6700. Ούτως ή άλλως, δε πρόκειται να τον αγοράσω πριν τα Χριστούγεννα. Και πάλι το σκέφτομαι αν θα πάρω αυτόν ή τον 18-50 που είχα αποφασίσει εξ αρχής....
