Strengths:

  • Excellent rendering and beautiful bokeh, ideal for portrait and artistic work
  • Robust build with sophisticated aesthetic and useful features like aperture lock and weather sealing
  • Strong video performance with stable footage and good focus pulls
  • Good value at $549 with solid optical design and slight optical improvements over the previous series
Weaknesses:

  • Autofocus speed and accuracy on Nikon Z-mount are relatively sluggish and less reliable
  • Limited close focusing distance and marginal maximum magnification
  • Slightly heavier and larger compared to some competitors, with oversize for APS-C on Fuji X-mount
  • Not the sharpest lens, especially in corners, with some issues like flare and mild color fringing




Pros:​

  • Nice looking lens with nice build
  • Subtle tweaks to the design make for a better looking lens
  • Includes nice case
  • Added iris lock
  • USB-C port for firmware updates
  • Good manual focus ring and experience
  • Very feature rich

  • Good sharpness and contrast at portrait distances

Cons:​

  • Autofocus needs a firmware update on Nikon for more precision
  • Video AF has a few quirks
  • Some fringing issues
  • Not as corrected as some competing lenses
  • Lower magnification levels than competitors

So Much Potential: SIRUI Astra Full Frame Autofocus 1.33X Anamorphic​

Η νεα σειρα των αναμορφικων sirui τους κανει αυτοματα και καταλληλους για φωτογραφια εκτος απο την προφανη χρηση τους για κινηματογραφηση που ειναι ο κυριος λογος που κατασκευαστηκαν.

Προσωπικα βλεπω να τους παιρνουν περισσοτερο για φωτογραφια παρα για κινηματογραφηση μιας και εκει ακομα βασιλευει η εξωτερικη ελεγχομενη με ειδικα μοτερ εστιαση ακριβειας.
 
Προσανατολίζομαι στην αγορά του 35/1.4 και του 85/1.4 για SONY.
Τα βασικά κριτήρια είναι με σειρά προτεραιότητας 1. το "γλυκό" τους γράψιμο στο bokeh 2. η φορητότητά τους 3. η τιμή .
Η σειρά της VILTROX PRO σε 50/1.4 και 85/1.4 που ειναι ουσιαστικά ο ανταγωνιστής τους περνάει σαν δεύτερη επιλογή κυρίως λόγω της κλινικής τους εικόνας αλλά και του μεγεθους τους.
Οι εξαιρετικοί SIGMA και SONY είναι εκτός του προυπολογισμού μου ακόμα και μεταχειρισμένοι.
Εαν κάποιος φίλος έχει προσωπική εμπειρία απο τους δύο SIRUI θα το εκτιμούσα να το έγραφε, ειδικά για τον 85αρι που παρουσιάζει κάποια θεματάκια.
 
Δυσκολα θα βρεις μελη με sirui θα εκπλαγω πολυ αν δεν εισαι ο πρωτος εδω μεσα :D

Τι ειδους θεματακια εχει ο 85 ?


Κοιταζω ας πουμε την γκαμα των 85αρηδων f1,4 και νομιζω οτι στην θεση σου μαλλον για τον samyang (mark II) θα πηγαινα ανετα.

Φακος ελαφρυς, σουπερ οξυς, νεας γενιας με βελτιωμενο AF και μια τεχνογνωσια πολυ περισσοτερο απο την Sirui.

χαχα...εχεις δίκιο, απλά είναι αυτή η γνωστή ελπίδα που "πεθαίνει" τελευταία σε κάθε σενάριο της ζωής μας....
ο 85 έχει διαπιστωμένα μειονεκτήματα στο autofocus γρήγορα κινούμενων αντικειμένων και στην αντιμετώπιση των flares . Σε κάποια παγκόσμια forum επίσης έχουν αναφερθεί σε ελλιπή ποιοτικό έλεγχο.
Το τελευταίο δεν με απασχολεί γιατί θα αγοραστεί από ελληνικό κατάστημα με εγγύηση. Για τα δύο πρώτα μειονεκτήματα είναι συνειδητή επιλογή, οπότε ...... ας πρόσεχα
 
και για τον Samyang εχεις δίκιο, ταιριάζει στις προτιμήσεις και δυνατότητές μου, απλά είναι πλαστικός και παλαιότερο μοντέλο (ακομα και ο mk2)
Σε Samyang θα κατευθυνθώ αργότερα στον 135/1.8
