  • Build feels tough rather than plasticky
  • USB port for firmware updates
  • Autofocus is quiet and accurate
  • Excellent sharpness
  • Colors look good
  • Low distortion
  • No fatal optical flaw
  • Amazing price to performance ratio

Cons:​

  • Lens hood doesn’t lock in place well
  • Bokeh can get a little busy
 
Αυτό το τελευταίο αρνητικό κάπου το ξέρω ....
Στον 35 1.8 viltrox Ζ το lens hood δε μπαίνει με τίποτα ... Πρέπει να έχεις τύχη για να μπει και άμα μπει ... Άντε να βγει ....
 
Δινεις 30 ευρω επιπλεον και εχεις τον nikon 40mm f 2 και εισαι αρχοντας και μεταχειρισμενος πιο φθηνος.

η Viltrox εχει γινει πια μια υπολογισιμη δυναμη στους φακους, πηρα μολις στα χερια μου τον μικρο αλλα θαυματουργο Viltrox AF 25mm 1.7 για τη Fuji xt5.

Εχω πια καταληξει στα 40mm EQ σε FF σαν αγαπημενο εστιακο μηκος για γενικη χρηση και street, οποτε τα 25mm ειναι πολυ κοντα στο ιδανικο μηκος για μενα σε APSC.

Ακομα και με τον δυσκολο αισθητηρα των 40 Mp της XT5 σε APSC , τα καταφερνει αριστα.

Απο λεπτομερεια, ταχυτητα εστιασης, αθορυβη λειτουργια ... μικρος , ελαφρυς και παμφθηνος.

Δεν διαπιστωσα CA , εχει λιγη βινιετα αλλα εχει ηδη προφιλ στη μηχανη για JPG αλλα και στο LR για RAW !
To ιδιο και για distortion, ελαχιστo εως καθολου.

Tρομερο VFM, με μονη ελλειψη αυτη του δαχτυλιδιου διαφραγματος...αλλα σ αυτη τη τιμη δεν παραπονιεμαι καθολου.

Εννοειται οτι λειτουργουν ολες οι ευκολιες της ΧΤ5 για εστιαση, face/eye detection , object tracking κλπ
Ο 56αρης fuji διπλα του ακουγεται σαν τρακτερ ! :p

4 μηνες κρατησα την R5, μη με αδικεις :p

O φακος ειναι εξαιρετικος , ειδικα σ αυτα τα χρηματα (οχι οσον αφορα την αποδοση που ειναι εξαιρετικη, αλλα κυριως στις "ευκολιες" )
αυτα που θα λειψουν σε καποιους ειναι οπως ειπα το δαχτυλιδι και το οτι δεν ειναι "αδιαβροχος" .

Το bokeh του πολυ ομαλο ...

  • The LAB series is supposed to be Viltrox’s BEST…and it shows
  • Beautiful built lens
  • Feature rich
  • Very good weather sealing
  • USB port for firmware updates along with Bluetooth for wireless access
  • New Hyper VCM motors are fast and accurate
  • Focus pulls are nicely damped
  • Exceptionally sharp lens that matches or bests the very best in the center and mid-frame
  • No distortion or vignette
  • Exceptional control of fringing
  • Colors look great
  • Amazing contrast
  • Gorgeous bokeh
  • Great flare resistance
  • Low coma
  • Amazing price to performance ratio

Cons:​

  • Big and heavy
  • Don’t love the aperture ring design
  • Some might be put off from the “clunk” of the floating elements

  • Quick and quiet autofocus
  • Good focus accuracy
  • Good center and midframe sharpness wide open
  • Excellent sharpness across most of the the frame when stopped down
  • Fairly low distortion
  • Good color rendering
  • Fantastic price to performance ratio
  • Fills a serious need on Nikon

Cons:​

  • Corners always lag a bit behind the rest of the frame
  • Strong vignette
  • Distortion pattern a little complex
  • Some instability in video autofocus at times
