Λοιπόν, αποφάσισα να γράψω στην εταιρεία σχετικά με τα προβλήματα που ποστάρισα πιο πάνω. Τους έγραψα το εξής
Hello, I have been having several issues with my Pulse Sfi since day one. First, on occasion I hear a persistent noise from the left change, a loud helicopter-like noise. It goes away when I turn the volume knob, but it is a PITA, as I use the Pulse as a DAC with my main speakers system and it is not close to my listening position.
Second, I always "lose" the sources when I turn them off. Meaning: I have the Pulse tuned to the USB. I turn the PC off, the Pulse stays on overnight (I never turn it off), the next day I turn the PC on and I get no sound. I have to change the source input to SPDIF and then again to USB. The same goes for the other inputs, i.e. when I leave the Pulse connected overnight to SPDIF (this source stays always on too btw) I get no sound next day, I have to apply the same routine.

I have received your support case regarding issues with your Geek Pulse.
What is the current firmware running on your Pulse? It can be found in the Light Harmonic Control Panel, Info tab.
The second "issue" is not an issue. Anytime the computer is powered down and the Pulse is not, the signal link between them needs to be reset after the computer is booted back up. Usually this entails powering the Pulse off and on.
As for the SPDIF connection, the Pulse loses the signal lock when there is no audio for an extended period, and it needs to reacquire the lock.
Και μου στείλανε (ξανά) νέο firmware. To εγκατέστησα και περιμένω.
Να ρωτήσω την ομήγυρη, επειδή δεν είχαν ποτέ πριν desktop dac, είναι φυσιολογική συμπεριφορά αυτή;
