Η προηγουμενη αν θυμαμαι καλα 2371, ειχε δεκαδες bugs ...
Tι να προλαβει να διορθωσει η 2372 ???

Δεν υπάρχει λόγος να αναβαθμίσετε τον δέκτη σας.
Η μόνη αναφορά που βρήκα για το νέο firmware είναι:
"fixed DVB-C" και τίποτε άλλο.
Σε όλες τις προηγούμενες εκδόσεις υπήρχε πίνακας με τις βελτιώσεις. Για την τελευταία δεν υπάρχει τίποτα. Σε γερμανικό φόρουμ γκρινιάζουν ότι το DCB-C λειτουργεί χειρότερα από πριν.
Οπότε μέχρι νεοτέρας, μην μπαίνετε στον κόπο..

Kατεβαστε το απ το server του Alsat kατευθειαν στον δεκτη σας αν θελετε.

Τουλάχιστον ότι αφορά το ελληνικό ενδιαφέρον και αυτή η έκδοση είναι διακοσμητική (όπως και η προηγούμενη)
Λείπει ακόμα το ελληνικό EPG στα κανάλια της Nova και η πολύ βασική αναγνώριση ελληνικών .srt υποτίτλων.
Μπορείτε να δείτε τον Bugtracker που έχουν ετοιμάσει σε γερμανικό φόρουμ για να έχετε γενική εικόνα.

απορία ... στην αρχή είχα δει avi με ελληνικούς υπότιτλους ... , μετά τα έβγαζε αλαμπουρνέζικα , μετά έβλεπα με αγγλικούς , τώρα έβαλα μία ταινία 1080p με ελληνικούς υπότιτλους , αλλά δεν εμφανίζει τίποτα ... μα τι γίνεται ; έχω premium με σκληρό μέσα , μεταφορά μέσω ftp
Ο δέκτης δε "βλέπει" απευθείας ελληνικούς υπότιτλους .srt. Πρέπει να τους μετατρέψεις με έναν text editor σε "utf 8 χωρίς bom"

Αλλο ένα team εγκαταλείπει την υποστήριξη του δέκτη και μάλιστα η αποχώρηση συνοδεύεται από μια ιδιαίτερα δηκτική καταγγελία κατά των Opensat και Impex όπου χωρίς περιστροφές καυτηριάζονται για επικείμενη εγκατάλειψη της υποστήριξης των δεκτών Azbox Elite & Premium και την κυκλοφορία ενός νέου μοντέλου που θα βασίζεται σε διαφορετικό επεξεργαστή.
Αυτό που προβληματίζει είναι πως στο πολυσέλιδο νήμα τοποθετήθηκε εκπρόσωπος της Impex (αντιπρόσωπος Azbox Γερμανίας) ο οποίος δεν διέψευσε τίποτα από το προσβλητικό κείμενο της καταγγελίας στο οποίο μεταξύ άλλων αναφέρεται ότι οι δύο ως άνω εταιρίες έχουν κατα νου μόνο το πως θα βάλουν το χέρι στην τσέπη των αγοραστών διαθέτοντας σκουπίδια!

Πάντως η αποκάλυψη στην τοποθέτηση του Γερμανού αντιπροσώπου είναι ότι υπάρχουν δέκτες με προβληματικό hardware χωρίς πάντως να διευκρινίζεται αν διατίθενται τέτοιοι ακόμα..

H opensat λεει οτι θα κυκλοφορησει νεα μοντελα και οτι θα αντικαταστησει? τα προβληματικα με οποιοδηποτε κοστος για την εταιρεια και το ερωτημα εκτος απο αν πραγματικα κανει αυτο που λεει ειναι το εξης θα φοραν οι νεοι δεκτες παλι sigma προσεσορα η θα φοραν sh4 και θα τρεχουν εντελως διαφορετικο λογισμικο? οποτε τι γινεται με τους υπαρχοντες δεκτες που δεν εχουν προβλημα με το hardware τους? θα τους αποσυρει και αυτους? ειδωμεν! παντως ο Hugo υποσχεθηκε οτι θα εχουμε νεα αυριο! Ηδη ανέβηκε ανακοίνωση στη σελίδα του αντιπροσώπου Γερμανίας ο οποίος μεταξύ άλλων αναγνωρίζει ότι υπάρχει hardware πρόβλημα στη μητρική πλακέτα σχετικό με τη συνεργασία διαφόρων CI Module's μεταξύ των οποίων και του Diablo cam. Οτι το πρόβλημα είναι γνωστό εδώ και πολύ καιρό και υπόσχεται δωρεάν αποκατάσταση του ελαττώματος μελλοντικά.

"Was not Hardware error, simply at beginning we don0t suppose to support Diablo Cams on our receiver. It’s not any vital feature. If you really need use this cam we can go ahead, but unless you use Diablo cam is not recommended sent box for this because you will lost some days of TV when box goes and back, however if need we do it without any charge to you."

Dear valuable Azbox users,
In order to calm down some opinions that appeared on internet, Opensat wants to clarify its position
referring to those issues:
1) We frankly don’t understand why this excitement around AzBox arises now, but we have strong reasons to
believe that it is only a commercial retaliation.
2) It is false that OPENSAT plans release new models based on other processor than the Sigma, we even announce
that our integration with Sigma chipsets are bigger every day.
3) It is true that Opensat will launch a new model, called media player without any possibility to plug tuners (the
model already presented at ANGA CABLE 2009), the target is to compete with MMP devices (like Popcorn, egreat,
…) and will be used a Sigma design chipset.
4) Obviously in the future some new models can be launched to better fulfill our customer’s needs. At the moment
we don’t plan to release any new model soon, and even if this happens in the future, definitively will be a Sigma
Chipset device and software will be compatible with all other HD receivers (Premium and Elite).
5) About Hardware issue, is true that with time we discovered some problem mostly with some non official cam’s.
In order to increase compatibility we decided to use the 2 slots with different voltage in the newer productions, so
all kind of cam's should work now. Due to this problem some of our distributors suggested to make those changes
manually in some motherboards previously sold, free of charge to the customers that requested the modification.
Opensat will fully support those distributors sending all the needed components to make the Hardware changes
and also support them technically to solve the issues. If user want to make the modification by at home can
download instructions at www.azbox.com/cam.zip.
6) Opensat Never run away from its responsibilities with users and society, probably Opensat is in the restricted
number of companies that have all portfolio licenses such as: MPEG LA (MPEG 2 VIDEO, MPEG 4 VISUAL,
AVC/H.264); VIA LICENSING (MPEG 2/4 AUDIO AAC); SISVEL (MPEG AUDIO); HDMI ADAPTER; DOLBY AC3; DIGITAL
DTS and finishing IGR licensing.
As is public knowledge, in case of DTS license we pay 3 USD per each sold receiver so users can enjoy this
technology. Probably AzBox it’s the only Set top box at free market with DTS output by HDMI. Our biggest concern
is the satisfaction of our users needs.
7) About Twin tuner issue, as is public knowledge in the datasheet from Sigma chipset, it's possible, and we follow
all chipset manufacturer recommendations, however at the moment Sigma didn't presented us with a working
solution, se we are working very hard developing it by ourselves (actually this is the reason of so few updates on last
3 weeks). Soon we will have solution to this problem.
8) In order to provide best support to the users we are planning to launch an official forum where people can report
their problems faster and also help us to find the correct solutions.
