Με την κυκλοφορία του προσφάτου The Golden Archipelago οι Swearwater δεν κατάφεραν σε καμία περίπτωση να ξεπεράσουν το προηγούμενο Rooks...παρολ' αυτά οι καλές στιγμές υπάρχουν με κορυφαία κατά την γνώμη μου,το κομμάτι,,Landscape At Speed...
Η παρακάτω εκτέλεση είναι ακουστική και διαφέρει αρκετά απ το πρωτότυπο...

Όσα χρόνια και αν περάσουν πάντα θα πιστεύω πως είναι ένα από τα ομορφότερα κομμάτια που έχω ακούσει...και κάτι παραπάνω...μπορεί η μπάντα όλα αυτά τα χρόνια να έχει ασύλληπτες εμπνεύσεις αλλά τούτη εδώ η στιγμή (έστω και αν ήταν σχετικά στην αρχή της πορείας τους),,νοιώθω πως έγινε η κατάλληλη χημική ένωση ετσι ώστε να ανακαλυφθεί η μουσική υπόκρουση της αιωνιότητας...Και αιωνιότητα με τέτοιου είδους μουσικά ροδοπέταλα,χαίρεσαι να την διαβαίνεις....Τελικά είχα δίκιο που πίστευα πως η αθανασία είναι πιο κοντά στην φύση του ανθρώπου....Άλλωστε οι απολαύσεις στην ζωή μας είναι κάτι που θέλουμε να κρατάει αιώνια...

Το μοναδικό από τα έξι κομμάτια του δίσκου με φωνητικά...το υπόλοιπο άλμπουμ βρίσκεται σε post rock/metal αλλά ατμοσφαιρικές επάλξεις,με καλά δομημένες συνθέσεις μεγάλης σχετικά διάρκειας,που δεν βιάζονται να ξεδιπλώσουν τις αρετές τους,αφήνοντας ακόμα και τον ανυποψίαστο ακροατή να εισχωρήσει,χωρίς απαραίτητα να τον αφήσουν να εμπεδώσει.....

Όσοι ακολουθούν (έστω και από σχετικά μακριά) το post rock,αξίζει να επενδύσουν...συν τοις άλλης,είναι και καλοί παίκτες...

Ένα ακουστικό live από τον Syd Matters και την μπάντα του,,που αναδεικνύει την δύναμη της φωνής στην μουσική...Οι απίστευτες τριφωνίες ματσαρουν αρμονικά με τις λιτές ενορχηστρώσεις,αφήνοντας για "προίκα" το Ghost Days,,ένα χαμηλόφωνο αλλά ταυτόχρονα δεμένο άλμπουμ,με πολλές δόσεις κιθάρας,,αλλά και καθαρού μυαλού...(εμένα τουλάχιστον, καθαρίζει το μυαλό μου κατά την διάρκεια της ακρόασης)...
