The Black Canary is coming to 'Arrow!'
Ever since The CW launched 'Arrow,' the high-octane adaptation of the DC Comics superhero series 'Green Arrow,' comic fans have been wondering when we'd see an appearance from Black Canary, Green Arrow's love interest and fellow crime-fighter. With the beautiful Katie Cassidy starring in 'Arrow' as Laurel Lance (Black Canary's alias in the comics), fans believed it was only a matter of time until Laurel and Oliver Queen teamed up to take on the dregs of Starling City, side by side.
LotzWell it looks like the producers of 'Arrow' have a twist up their sleeve: while Black Canary will be appearing in the upcoming second season of 'Arrow,' she won't be Laurel Lance. 'Arrow' has opted to introduce the Golden Age version of the Black Canary character, named Dinah Drake, who will be played by Caity Lotz. Lotz is best known for starring in the television series 'Death Valley' as well as the feature film 'The Pact.'
This will mark the fourth live-action television appearance of the Black Canary character, however there have been various permutations of the Canary's alter ego throughout. In 1979's campy television special 'Legends of the Superheroes,' Canary was played by Danuta Wesley. Later, a character named Carolyn Lance starred as Black Canary in the short lived series 'Birds of Prey.' Dinah Lance made an appearance as Black Canary in 'Smallville,' noting that she wasn't the first woman to carry that mantle. Now, Dinah Drake makes her first television appearance, to be brought to life by Caity Lotz.
The character is slated as a recurring on 'Arrow,' meaning a long-term arc is in store for Lotz. There has been some speculation on how the series will handle Black Canary's classic high-pitched scream, which she uses to disable opponents; considering the strict "no super powers" rule of 'Arrow's world, they will have to modify it to some sort of technological assistance.

ARROW Nets Caity Lotz – But She’s NOT The Black Canary
It’s emerged that earlier reports that Caity Lotz had been cast in the role of Dinah Drake on Arrow Season 2 are slightly wide of the mark. Putting the record straight, Arrow EP Andrew Kreisberg informed TV Guide that Lotz’s character (who he declined to name) represents the start of the Black Canary arc:
“There’s been a bit of misinformation printed out there and what I would say is, yes, Caity Lotz is joining the show in a recurring role and we’re really excited. She’s a tremendously talented actress. The character she’s playing is really the beginning of the story of the Black Canary.”
He continued:
”The character that Caity is portraying is the beginning of the Black Canary story and we’re really excited for the fans to go on the journey with us. So much of our show is about defying expectations, meeting expectations and exceeding expectations, and we really want our fans to experience the show by watching it and enjoying it and enjoying all the twists and turns and surprises the way we intend.”
Kreiberg likens the Black Canary’s journey to some of the show’s other redefined source material characters, such as Deathstroke and Merlyn. As for whether this means Laurel could still transition into the Black Canary’s fishnet’s, Kreisberg spoke in the affirmative – but don’t expect it to happen overnight:
”Everyone knows that Laurel Lance is the Black Canary. That’s the way it is in the comic books, but how we get from A to B is the story of our show. In the same way that Oliver, when we meet him, is the vigilante, but this season he’s going to becoming the Arrow, that’s the step of his journey to eventually becoming the Green Arrow. Laurel Lance right now is a lawyer with a lot of heart and a lot of humanity and courage. But it takes more than that to put on the mask and go out and fight crime. Our series is the evolution of that. People will see how Caity Lotz fits into Laurel’s journey along the way. For us, it’s very emotional and surprising and exciting. I would say to everybody, we haven’t let you down so far. Keep going on this ride with us.”

Πολύ καλό το επεισόδιο , μας αφήνει σε αγωνία , για το τι θα γίνει στο επόμενο .
Σε αυτό το κλαμπ , στο προηγούμενο επεισόδιο σέρβιρε η ιδιοκτήτρια , σε αυτό το επεισόδιο σκούπιζε ο φίλος της .
Πολύ δουλευταράδες, αυτά τα παιδιά .
Πολύ καλό το επεισόδιο , μας αφήνει σε αγωνία , για το τι θα γίνει στο επόμενο .

Σε σχέση με κάποια άλλα που βλέπεις πχ. Originals , Sleepy Hollow , Reign , Witches of East End , The Tomorrow People είναι πολλές κλάσεις ανώτερο.

Για το sleepy hollow δεν ξερω.... το βρισκω κι εκεινο αρκετα ευχαριστο.
Σε σχεση ομως με κατι agends of shield που βλεπεις φιλτατε Junior
ειναι οντως μακραν καλυτερο.
Kαι σου το λεω εγω που εν γενει προτιμαω σαφως τους ηρωες της Μαρβελ απο τους αντιστοιχους της DC.

Marvel βλέπω για την Skye.. δεν γίνεται να το κόψω!
Στο Sleepy μου αρέσει η ατμόσφαιρα της σειράς αρκετά.. θέλω κάτι τέτοιο..

Είμαι στο 7ο και πέτυχα την Jessica De Gouw ως Helena Bertinelli / The Huntress που την είδα και στο Dracula!
Απ' ότι καταλαβαίνω δεν θα έχει σταθερό ρόλο στην συνέχεια εε ?

Σε 1 εβδομάδα θα σας έχω φτάσει!
Τώρα την βλέπω με άλλο μάτι την σειρά και οκ καλή είναι!
Την 1η φορά μου φάνηκε υπερβολική σε κάποια πράγματα!
Παίζει ρόλο τελικά με τι διάθεση θα δεις κάτι!

Νομίζω πως κάτω από τα γυαλάκια της κρύβει μία φλόγα μέσα της και κάποιος πρέπει να την φανερώσει!

Δεν το πιστεύω ότι ενώ τόσα επεισόδια κανείς δεν μπόρεσε να πετύχει τον Όλιβερ.. (κάτι σαν τον James Bond δεν τον πιάνουν οι σφαίρες..)
