'Ενα άγνωστο έργο επίσης άγνωστου Έλληνα συνθέτη. Γράφτηκε το 1893 στο Μόναχο, ενώ ο συνθέτης σπούδαζε στο εκεί Ωδείο. Το πήρε το μάτι μου χτες στα πανέρια με τις προσφορές του Carrefour και το άρπαξα. Ευχάριστη υστερορομαντική μουσική της γερμανικής σχολής. Δεν έχει ιδιαίτερο ελληνικό χρώμα, αλλά θα ήταν άδικο να περιμένει κανείς πάρα πολλά από ένα φοιτητή. Ενδιαφέρουσες μελωδίες, επιδέξια ενορχήστρωση, αλλά και πλατειασμοί, "κοιλιές", αδυναμίες που συναντούνται συχνά σε πρώιμα ορχηστρικά έργα (π.χ την συμφωνία "Kullervo" του Sibelius). Η ορχήστρα μάλλον λίγη για να αναδείξει μια σχετικά απαιτητική και άγνωστη παρτιτούρα, ο Βύρων Φιδετζής εξαιρετικός. Του αξίζουν συγχαρητήρια που ανέσυρε (ακόμη) ένα άγνωστο διαμαντάκι ελληνικής λόγιας μουσικής από την αφάνεια. Κάτι τέτοιοι άνθρωποι σε κάνουν να ελπίζεις ακόμη για αυτό τον τόπο.

Δε βρήκα βέβαια το εξώφυλλο της limited edition που πήρα, αλλά μας κάνει κι αυτό.

Ο Μανωλάκος θα πετάξει από τη χαρά του που επιτέλους αποφάσισα ν' ασχοληθώ... ;)

Blood, Sweat & Tears is the 1969 self-titled second album by the band Blood, Sweat & Tears.

After the critical success of the first album, bandleader Al Kooper and two other members left the group. Bobby Colomby and Steve Katz searched for a replacement singer, settling on David Clayton-Thomas; three more musicians joined to bring the band to nine members. Columbia assigned James William Guercio (who was simultaneously working with new band Chicago) to produce a new album.

The song selection was much more pop-oriented than the first album, with more compositions from outside the band; as a result, the album was a huge commercial success, rising to the top of the U.S. charts and yielding three successive Top 5 singles. It also received favorable reviews from the music critics, and received a Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 1970

Δυο νεα τραγουδια υπαρχουν εδω. Πατηστε στο σταυρο που βρισκεται στην κορυφη του οκταεδρου για να ακουσετε το καταπληκτικο "Since we've been wrong", καθω και στο σταυρο πανω απο το βουνο για το δευτερο τραγουδι.

8/7 στο Αμστενταμ, 28... (Εχει και Σαντανα στο ΟΑΚΑ εκεινη την ημερα και μου εχουν παρει ηδη εισιτηριο. Μηπως να την κανω για μονοημερη ομως?:rolleyes:)

Τον λόγο που έβαλα εδώ αυτή τη χιτάρα (να'ταν μόνο αυτή-το Venus είναι μετριότητα μπροστά στα άλλα) από τα αθώα flower power χρόνια των Shocking Blue, θα τον μάθετε λείαν συντόμως...
Δεν θα περιμένουμε άλλο τα σημάδια που λέει η Veres πάντως, γιατί ήρθαν!

Ρε Μουκ μου φαίνεται ότι έχουμε με συγκεκριμένη αποστολή σε αυτό τον πλανήτη.
