Michael Bay: Microsoft is the Real Problem

Outspoken director Michael Bay has once again posted a note on his website in regards to the format war, this time calling out Microsoft. He pointed out, similar to what many insiders have been saying for a while, that Microsoft was only trying to destroy both formats in order to usher in digital downloads. Mr. Bay called Blu-ray the "superior" format and hinted that Microsoft was behind the now infamous Paramount payoff.

What you don't understand is corporate politics. Microsoft wants both formats to fail so they can be heroes and make the world move to digital downloads. That is the dirty secret no one is talking about. That is why Microsoft is handing out $100 million dollar checks to studios just embrace the HD DVD and not the leading, and superior Blu Ray. They want confusion in the market until they perfect the digital downloads. Time will tell and you will see the truth.

Does anyone out here want to challenge what I feel suits my films better in terms of look. I see every frame of my films over a hundred times before it is ever released. I know the lighting conditions I shot it and the result on the DI. I know the range. I know what the final product should look like - Blu Ray suits my films better. But that said - I don't a care about this format war because I have both formats in my screening room - I'm just filling you in on what people deep in the film industry feel ultimately is going on -

καθολου,αντε να τελειωνει αυτο το παραμυθι να δουμε τι θα κανουμε.
οσον αφορα εμενα δεν ξανα ασχολουμαι με με αυτη την ιστορια.

Για μια ακόμα φορά θα κάνω την ίδια παρατήρηση φίλε blizard : Όταν κάνεις quote ένα άρθρο απο κάπου, ή θα το κάνεις quote όπως ακριβώς έχει, ή αν το πειράξεις με οποιοδήποτε τρόπο, έχε τη στοιχειώδη καλωσύνη (ευγένεια ?) να το ξεκαθαρίζεις σε όσους σκοπεύουν να το διαβάσουν.

Στο original απόσπασμα που έκανες quote δεν υπάρχει κανένα κομμάτι highlighted !

Αν θέλεις να τονίσεις κάτι, ασφαλώς και μπορείς να το κάνεις, μην αποδίδεις αυτόν τον τονισμό όμως στον αρχικό συγγραφέα του κειμένου ....

Τα ευκόλος εννοούμενα παραλείπονται φίλε ...

Ετσι γίνεται παντού , συνήθος ο poster επιλέγει ένα μικρό κομάτι του άρθρου να αντιγράψει , και εφόσον δεν υπάρχει αλλοίωση του κειμένου αλλά απλά τονισμός της ουσίας για ευκολία όσων βιάζονται, δεν υπάρχει πρόβλημα.

Τίποτε δεν είναι ευκόλως εννοούμενο έτσι όπως το λες... Και θα σου θυμήσω οτι έιχες και παλαιότερα το ίδιο πρόβλημα όταν έκανες highlight κάποια κομμάτια απο τη συνέντευξη του SVP της Sony και ένας άλλος φίλος απο εδώ έκανε ένα highlighting τελείως διαφορετικό απο το δικό σου !

Επειδή δεν είμαστε αγράμματοι και επειδή ξέρουμε να διαβάζουμε πολύ καλά, μην υποτιμάς τη νοημοσύνη μας βάζοντας σε bold κομμάτια κειμένων που μπορεί για σένα να είναι σημαντικά αλλά για άλλους να μην είναι ... Παράθεσέ μας το κείμενο και άσε εμάς να κρίνουμε ο καθένας για τον εαυτό του τι είναι και τι δεν είναι το ζουμί του κειμένου.

Έχεις λάθος ... πχ αν έχουμε μια μεγάλη συνέντευξη με 10 θέματα δεν μπορούν όλοι να διαβάζουν ατέλειωτα κατεβατά..
Ο poster θα επιλέξει συγκεκριμένο απόσπασμα και θα κάνει bold αυτό που νομίζει είναι η ουσία και αφορά το topic , για ευκολία όλων.
(Αν το διαστρεβλώσει εντελώς με λάθος επιλογές και παραπλανητικά σχόλια πρέπει να τον διορθώσουν οι άλλοι, άσχετα αν υπάρχει το (σ.σ.) στο τέλος ή όχι...γιαυτό και το δικό μου σχόλιο σε άλλη περίπτωση.)

Εσύ που ξέρεις καλά γράμματα και έχεις πολύ χρόνο μπορείς να πατάς κατευθείαν το link και να τα διαβάζεις όλα…. Έτσι γίνεται παντού και είναι όλοι ευχαριστημένοι.

Αν έχεις κάποια διαφωνία και νομίζεις ότι κάτι που δεν έγινε bold είναι σημαντικό και αλλάζει την ουσία όσων γράφτηκαν , ανάφερε το.

Ιδου και το δικο μου QUOTE με νέα επαναστατικά Bold.

Το ονομάζω Bold3 ( καθως είναι το τριτο στην σειρά)

Πρόκειται για ένα επαναστατικό απορρυπαντικό που όμως δεν διαθέτει κόκκινους και μπλε κόκκους ( για αυτό και καθαρίζει καλύτερα)

Και το κομάτι που τόνισες είναι ενδιαφέρον γιατί λέει πως μερικές ταινίες μπορεί να δείχνουν καλά ακόμα και σε dvd οπότε τους είναι αρκετό το HD-DVD ... δεν χρειάζονται BD.
Mπορούμε να το συζητήσουμε και αυτό, αλλά πολύ πιο σημαντικό είναι το "βρώμικο μυστικό" που όλοι ξέρουν στο χώρο .

Κλασικά... είχαμε έναν γνωστό παραγωγό (transformers) που μιλάει έξω από τα δόντια για τα πλεονεκτήματα του BD στην πιστή αναπαραγωγή των ταινιών του και για το βρώμικο παιχνίδι της MS, οπότε είναι αναμενόμενο να αρχίσουν μερικοί τα απορρυπαντικά και τα κακαρίσματα.

Φαντάσου να τολμούσα να έκανα και σχολιασμό σε όσα είπε εναντίων της MS και του HD-DVD , αντί να τα μεταφέρω απλά !!! ;)

Εχουμε ένα γνωστό σκηνοθέτη ( και σε καποιες περιπτώσεις παραγωγό ) που λεει με το στόμα του ότι λεει και με την σκηνοθεσία του.
Δηλαδή βλακείες.
Τωρα εαν καποιος θελει να τις υιοθετήσει αυτές της βλακείες γούστο και καπέλο του ( δεν χρειάζεται κάποια ιδιαίτερη τολμη για αυτό )
