το Audyssey δεν βάζει crossover, απλά μετράει και λέει στον ενισχυτή που γίνεται το roll off και είναι -3db. Μήπως το audyssey σου έθεσε και τα ηχεία ως small και διαλέγεις ότι θες εσύ και από τους 2 κόσμους; Η ίδια η Audyssey λέει ότι όταν υπάρχει sub, θέτεις τα ηχεία σαν small.
"The frequency response of your speakers in your room is different than what was used to make the content. This is what Audyssey MultEQ tries to solve by measuring the room and creating a set of filters that correct acoustical problems. This is also an area where proper bass management is needed. Content is made to extend to a certain low frequency and at a certain sound pressure level. The amplifier power needed to reproduce the required SPL levels at low frequencies is quite high and so, using a separate subwoofer amp for that purpose is beneficial to the playback quality of the entire system. Furthermore, the MultEQ room correction filters in the subwoofer channel have 8x more resolution and so redirecting content to that channel for reproduction greatly improves the bass response in your listening room."
Το γιατί έχει καθιερωθεί crossover στα 80hz μπορείς να το καταλάβεις πλήρως στα λινκ που έχω παραθέσει. Φυσικά και μπορείς να τα αφήσεις εκεί που έχει μετρήσει το audyssey (ΟΧΙ όμως παρακάτω) αλλά έτσι δεν αξιοποιείς βέλτιστα το correction του audyssey και μπορείς να δημιουργείς και προβλήματα που είναι αδύνατον να διορθώσεις με EQ, όπως μπορείς να διαβάσεις στο 3ο λινκ που παρέθεσα.
Επίσης όταν έχεις βάλει τα ηχεία σου ως large, τα crossover δεν έχουν πια σημασία...έχουν νόημα μόνο οταν είναι small.
